So at the last minute I found myself in Conakry.
I have to go visit my "uncle" Famoudou Konaté , there is always a lot to talk about with him.
But imagine my surprise when I saw the great Mbemba Bangoura himself coming with students from all around the globe to pay his respects to Famoudou.
Always a pleasure and an honor to meet the masters who paved the road of the djembe.
Djembe has no borders, we can be far away from each other but our hearts are linked.
Bless you masters, thank you for showing the way and for the inspiration by @drdjembe

The excitement when I opened the boxes, especially because this time was a bit of a logistical challenge.
But the drums are beautiful, perfectly balanced. The calabashes are perfect, of various sizes and thicknesses. And the skins? A whole batch of white spotted goat skins as you like.
I'll be happy to welcome you at home.
