My heart is so full. Thank you everyone who came out to @bonita.fishwife debut album release at @bycseattle . We’ve been sitting on these songs for the last 2 years (some even longer) and I’m so glad it’s out in the world.

To everyone who came out last night (or tried to but life happens): I have nothing but love and gratitude. I worried all week no one was going to show up and we’d be playing to an empty room, but you all turned up, filled the room, and stuck around. I had a lovely time chatting with y’all in the merch line and meeting new people and seeing old friends.

@bolognathetoni : you’re a phenomenal songwriter and an amazing friend. You’ve been so patient with me getting comfortable harmonizing and you write stunning vocal parts for the band. I’m so happy Bad Feeling is out there in the world with the perfect band. We’ve come a long way and I’m so excited to go on our first tour together.

Nick (of @accendino.music ) thank you for wanting to play bass in our band. Your insight on how to build songs, add dynamics, riffs, and cool things is unmatched. Bjørn, Toni, and I have talked about how blown away at your artistry and musicianship. You’re such a good vibe to be around and Tour part 2 is going to be a blast with you.

@cheerful__cat : you’re our saving grace. Holy shit we’re so lucky we know you and get to be in a band with you. Not only are you such a solid drummer, but a solid person. I’m excited to write songs with you and the band together. You’ve already made such a big impact on us all and we’re thankful for all your hard work and talent.

@bjorn_watkins : you’re the love of my life. We make a good team. I want to write songs with you forever.

@ameliaormia for being there day 1 and for being a huge reason our Kickstarter was successful, @christianacrabbe and @_qveerly_beloved for always being down to act in our music videos as the villains and being some of my favorite people, @dylantronic for putting up with my goofy music videos ideas & breathing life into them, @victoriarigbycreative for directing Bad Feeling, one of our favorite music videos (we hope we get to work more in the future) , @eric.padget for recording our drums and bass! taken in Belltown Yacht Club by @drea.marilyn

Here’s my contribution to the #jimothy art.

I’ve been making a lot of things with air dry clay. For the frame I used foil and tape then covered it with air dry clay and painted with acrylic paint.

I loved making art so much as a kid, I think a lot of us did, and I remember it being “my thing” and whole personality. Fast forward to middle school and I saw there was so many people better than me I stopped.

Now in my life, I’m surrounded by all kinds of professional artists: musicians, painters, illustrators, writers, poets, actors, and dancers. They all inspire me so much. It was never about who’s the best, but what can we create. My favorite thing in the world is creating things together with friends.

So here’s my good bad art. I had fun with this process. I’ll post more silly things I like.

UPDATE!! Our album release show is in a week at @bycseattle !! We updated the entrance to the venue!! We’re playing with our brother band @accendino (fun fact: Nick, our bassist plays guitar for them) and our dear friends @sweetmarilyn.xo (other fun fact: we’re going on to tour with them!

@bolognathetoni @bjorn_watkins @drea.marilyn and Nick are also excited to introduce you to our drummer: @cheerful__cat ! She’s killer on the drums and a great hang overall.

The 2010s business casual was sort of a joke, but you should do it anyways. Come dressed in your favorite outfit.

We’re also going to have a DIY vending machine where you can win some good bad art.🖼️
