We know that our movements are more powerful and irresistible when we sing together.

Join us on Tuesday, May 12th from 7-8:30pm at @koltzedek (5300 Whitby Ave) for an evening of Singing Resistance, in partnership with @noicephilly.

We will learn & practice anti-ICE/migrant justice/movement liberation songs that we can sing in the streets, and fill our own cups to continue to fight authoritarianism and build the world we need. This gathering may be filmed so other groups can learn these songs.

This year AUTUMN (the band) is releasing a series of remixes. The first remix is Bloodsong, crafted by @k.w.e.s.t

PRESCRIPTION: Music is deep medicine. At a recent event a fellow resident of Minneapolis asked me how to rest amidst the occupation. I recommended shaking or dancing for at least three minutes to a song that makes you want to move, because this practice helps discharge built up activation in the nervous system. Bloodsong is a song of resistance, against genocide, against occupation, against exploitation. I offer it up to anyone who is struggling with trapped activation. I invite you to put on the remix and shake your body or move it in any way that helps to move your energy. 🌌🩸🎧 by @dreamingwithduns
