When life feels uncertain, unsafe, and unknown, he’s become the one I can count on to remind me who I am.

Pinterest board dreams can come true, just don’t let the internet convince you that chaos is the price of having them.

Somewhere between performative relatability, glamorizing drama in the media, and aspirational photos being the digital proof of “perfection”, we’ve lost the art of searching for the basics.

What actually defines a good relationship?
That’s for you to decide.

Not TikTok, not reality TV, not Pinterest, and definitely not strangers on Instagram.

For me, checking in with the man upstairs and my own intuition shifted everything for me.

The script is imaginary ~ there is no perfect blueprint for roles or checklists. Relationships are simply two unique people with a real desire to be understood hoping to make life brighter and stronger together.

To read the water and know how to ride each new unique wave of life - that’s a rich life skill to conquer. 🌊

Surf your own emotions more, to tune back into your own heart, and surf the internet less. ☁️💤

When the waves of life become overwhelming with anxiety, it’s typically because we’re running to our comfort for a false sense of safety.🌊☕️

• a routine that benefits your peace might require discomfort [your comfort zone and lack of movement could be causing more anxiety than tackling your fears ever would]

• doing challenging things & escaping our safety nets BUILDS self-confidence and our capacity to endure 💪🏻

• WHEN the waves of life come crashing down, (they will come), it’s better to be prepared on how to handle your emotional resilience than to be shocked by the impact. Train your mind today, to handle the unexpected detours. There’s nothing worse than feeling blindsided by tragedies that flip your world upside down and leave you lost with no direction. Learning how to pick yourself up & rebuild your joy brick by brick is hard work… it’s what they DON’T teach you about in school or in that “5-Year Plan”.

• Life never works out in the exact way we plan it, so let’s control what we CAN: personal development skills✍️. So that when life hits hard, YOU are ready and firm in your foundation to withstand and overcome your goals regardless of the season. The “summer days” of your dream job ALWAYS come with the stormy nights 🌙 - it’s time to take control of your mental resilience & upgrade your productivity levels 💡
