Alchemizing pain into power.

The only way to transform pain, is to experience it. We have emotions so we can feel them, not repress them. People have become so afraid of pain that they do everything to run from it. To be liberated, you must go through it! There is no other way. There is something very real about letting yourself feel everything. You feel like you’re actually living. The glow up and peace you experience after releasing pain is worth it. People think my life has been sunshines and rainbows. But the truth is, to be as happy as I am today, I had to go through a lot of these moments alone. I’m extremely grateful because it is these moments that made me feel connected to something much bigger and much deeper. It is these moments that made me realize I wanted to be an artist. It is these moments that made me into the bubbly, bright, positive, wise, and strong woman I am becoming. The darkness is necessary, we need it. Don’t let it destroy you, you’re meant to go through it to become the person you’re meant to be🧿
