@summersalt -they truly are the unicorn of swimwear—beautiful designs, incredible fabric, and sizing that works for so many women.

The @robinpiccone T-shirt top bikini is another favorite of mine. It’s versatile, flattering, and offers a little extra coverage while still feeling stylish and modern.

MET GALA 2026 | Costume Art , Fashion Is Art

Not your traditional red carpet by any stretch. The Met Gala is always about more than just getting dressed—it’s the annual first Monday in May fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Every year, a theme sets the tone—and designers + attendees are expected to interpret it. But here’s the thing: success at the Met is all about balance. It has to be fashion and art. Lean too far in either direction, and you miss the mark.

This year’s theme? Challenging. Some looks felt confusing at first glance—but when you understood the deeper artistic or historical references, they started to make a lot more sense.

That said… this one didn’t fully land for me. Definitely one of my least favorite Met carpets to date. But I’m not an Art Historian- so maybe I’m missing the mark. 🤓

The Pants Men Love to Hate

Topping every guy’s most-hated fashion list: enter the culotte, the oversized Bermuda, the jort… whatever we’re calling it. 😂 They hate it. I’m wearing it anyway.

I like to balance all that volume with something fitted and tucked in, add a belt to polish it up, then finish with a cute little heel to bring back a little femininity.

Timing is everything. We know fashion is cyclical, but knowing when to dig back into your archives is all about reading the cues of what’s happening now.

And when you do pull something back out, don’t wear it exactly the way you did the first time around. That’s where people can miss it. The reference can be old—the way you wear it needs to feel completely now.

Case in point: I’m currently obsessed with my Chanel 4002 amber lens rimless babies, circa 2001. We’ve been flirting with early 2000s fashion for a while, but look at the sunglass market right now—rimless is everywhere.

These haven’t seen daylight in probably 20 years and suddenly they feel SO right.
