New kitchen, new cookware!

What happens when an Indonesian classic meets Korean BBQ? 👀

I grew up loving Indomie Mi Goreng, and Korean BBQ is one of my favorite things to eat, so I had to see what would happen if I brought the two together.

Simple salt & pepper LA galbi, kimchi, green onions, and of course, all those signature Mi Goreng sauces. Make sure you empty those packets!

Lemongrass chicken bowls 🌿🍋🍚

One of my favorite ways to make a simple chicken dinner feel anything but boring. This lemongrass chicken is juicy, savory, fragrant, and packed with so much flavor — especially when served over a bowl of hot, fluffy rice with fresh herbs and all the toppings.

For this recipe, I’m using @squidbrandglobal fish sauce, which adds that deep, savory umami flavor that ties everything together. A little goes a long way, and it’s one of those ingredients I always keep in my pantry when I’m cooking Southeast Asian-inspired dishes.

The chicken gets marinated with lemongrass, garlic, and a few simple seasonings before being cooked until golden and caramelized around the edges. Serve it over rice with cucumber, herbs, and a little extra sauce and you’ve got an easy meal that’s seriously hard to stop eating.

Air fryer bang bang chicken
A healthier option if you still want DELICIOUS bang bang chicken at home with less calories and saturated fats!

I’m using chicken breast instead of chicken thighs. Substitute full fat mayo with low fat mayo and cook in the airfryer instead of deep frying it!

Living in a small condo means every bit of kitchen space counts... and somehow I kept ending up with a growing collection of empty olive oil bottles. 😅

This is my FAVORITE nostalgic noodle from my childhood. Growing up I always devoured these Indomie noodle packs like there’s no tomorrow. Now that I’m an adult, I make it a more balanced meal by adding my own toppings like a juicy seared chicken thigh and some fresh vegetables. YUM!
