Recap + Looking Ahead

Between how roundnet is going, to moving out and starting a new job, 2026 has been a year to remember! The newfound GWR crew have not only helped my game with high quality reps during the week, but given me a social outlet in a completely new part of the country. That second piece is crucial to my well being, so for that I am eternally grateful.

It’s awesome to see the lots of playing be rectified; @decbrown36 and I’s third place at last weekends major is my third podium and fourth top 4 of the season.

With that being said, I have significant improvements to make in all departments of my life to see my game reach the level I want it to. It’s becoming clear as ever to me that intangibles like physical fitness, maintaining my level + composure under pressure, and doing the boring stuff well on non tournament days are where I need to grow as a player to continue progressing past where I am now. Shoutout @kieran_roundnet for opening my eyes to how little I’m really doing to better my performance grand scheme of things.

I’ve tried getting off socials before, but I’m gonna try again. The engagement mechanisms in place are too problematic in too many ways to count. Shoutout Kathy, she was right about it being that damn phone😭

I have 2 tournaments left for this season before concluding in Richmond at the championship. I look forward to taking on the challenges all 3 will face, and can’t wait to continue connecting with all of you!
