How I was feeling in Seattle recently on Sunday, September 6th, 2026 at @selectorseattle - Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

Note: throwing this together was fun to do while in the midst of experiencing @bumbershoot music festival for my first time. Cheers to Shermanβ€”I appreciate yet another opportunity to share the love of music. Until next time...

Hugging a moss covered [Sitka Spruce] tree, reminding Drew to be proud of himself. I highly recommend doing the same for yourself. ✨

Over the last 12 weeks I've experienced a summer based in Portland that I never had before. It started in the desert, led me through ancient forests and upon mountain tops of islands; all throughout the west coast. Being alone allowed me the honor of crossing paths with people who I never would have met otherwise: an elderly man who lives in the Redwoods who said nobody has started a conversation with for years on a trail he frequents along the Avenue of the Giants and a woman who caught up with me on a coastal trail in Oregon that I wouldn't have met if I didn't stop to stretch who shares the same sign as me, Aquarius, who ended up hiking with me for the entirety of my time there and had a reciprocation of sharing insights that helped shape us both in our life journey on a deep heart levelβ€”which is in a lot of ways the baseline for navigating this human experience. I feel eternally grateful for these past few months that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for trusting my intuition and gut instincts. So I guess I'm here to encourage you all: to not be afraid to be alone, to lean into what you feel is calling and allow anything and everything we can experience to enter the soft shape in your heart and contribute to a constructive future that's designed for your unique and individual self. And remember, nothing can stop that from happening even if we tried. But when we welcome it with open arms, heart and mind... truly magical things are able to transpire, exponentially.

Sending a moment of peace to you and encourage you to keep following your pathβ€”knowing whatever is meant for you, even if it's challenging, is totally what we need to stroke the pen, turn pages and continue onward unfolding the next chapter of what's to come.

Trust yourself with the wisdom you've gained to know what to give up on and what to give into because holy f*ck this thing called life is well beyond our comprehension and what any single word can describe. Yet we must always value the things we can comprehend while having an absolute reverence for all that remains unknown.

Cheers to appreciating all that we can while we're here with each step moving forward on the road less traveled. taken in Bridge Of The Gods by @drewcornwall

On this Saturday, August 15th, we're doing it again with @pctdays at 7:30pm, playing a vinyl dj set next to Thunder Island in the Columbia River Gorge alongside of the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks Marine Park. Join me with stewards of the Pacific Crest Trail as we celebrate the 19th year of PCT Days, hosted by a friend of mine who's been having me work each year in some capacity; from event photography to production assisting. Last year was the first vinyl dj set and it was an absolute blast. So as the vocals say in Jamie XX's track, let's do it again. taken in Cascade Locks, Oregon by @drewcornwall

As sort of a mystic, I find it's the woods that allows me to further connect with creativity through natures simplest metaphors. They help fortify my human experience in borderline unexplainable ways, yielding different kinds of personal growth. That saidβ€”I'm feeling darn thankful for the various support systems in communities throughout this past month's adventures after saying yes to things I haven't recently been able to say yes to; being unemployed has presented challenges, tending to bring about some discomfort but honestly wouldn't have it any other way because we often got to lose in order to find I guess.

Ultimately glad to be here with you all. I'm looking forward to the future and hope you are, too. So cheers to evolving, being a part of the solution and the courage to grow wiser when we can...

"For what we share and what we withhold determines our stories to be told. Be mindful of what we're trying to protect cause love's true gift is our ability to connect."

[Note: I had this thought in the middle of the night, wrote it down, fell back asleep, woke up in the morning and paired it with this image from a recent journey that seemed like too good of a fitβ€”as if I felt these words through the making of this image before I was able to verbalize or experience what it meant]. by @drewcornwall

Holding myself accountable to do more of the things I said I'd do which has been instantly rewarding. But I'm curious: when you consider yourself as an encourager and an optimistic friend, how does one go about receiving encouragement and support when you get down on yourself?

I'm finding it harder as I get older to find support in a true friend but equally grateful when I'm reminded I'm becoming more of a friend to myselfβ€”being okay with the fact that I might be the only one who understands me sometimes. Maybe it's harder since we're all trying to be present for ourselves first and after there's more healing we can better be there for each other. Nonetheless, I'm here to remind you to not take your support systems for granted. Sometimes they come and go so may we never forget what we've learned through others, too. That's where I'm at now; trying to carry that with me wholeheartedly regardless of where I am.

If we haven't connected in a while, reach out. Chances are I miss you and hope we can catch up sometime; maybe go for a virtual walk or one in real life.

Stay strong fam and send recs if you can! I'll be sure to spread the wealth. taken in Columbia River Gorge by @drewcornwall

Join me in a moment of peace with eyes closed and a hand on your heart to recognize the life of a unique spirit that graced us and continues to grace us with her presence. Rachel Rose, the experience of knowing you in various forms past and present will forever remain a gift; one that is surely deep in our hearts. Happy Birthday to you and "may the force, the fourth, the forest be with us."

If you lost someone recently or maybe a some time ago, I want to remind you that your relationship has not ended. In many ways I believe it has in fact only just begun. With the right kind of light we're able to see so much more.

As the hand is released from a clenched heart, raise it in the air and send love to all. by @drewcornwall
