Ok, Grassholes… What the fuck was that? Y’all brought more creative energy and contributed to the vibes through immediacy and radical participation more than any APOG before.

Was 8POG the best expression of @anypatchofgrass yet? Abso-fucking-lutely! I’m using my last 2 brain cells to try to wrap my head around it. I’ve got so much more to say, incredible memories to relive, and content to share about the emotionally and physically healing weekend we just experienced together…

but for now I’ll start by sharing this awe inspiring 9 exposure image captured by @drewcornwall_plus. What a humbling honor it is to be a subject in your art and be able to relive the entire @de.wannawanga_art vibe in a single image.

Thank you Grassholes. From the bottom of my heart 💚 taken in Darrington, Washington by @drewcornwall_plus

Cut Copy @ Wonder Ballroom, Portland, OR. 11/11/25

Note: I can't imagine the soundtrack of my life without at least one song by these gentlemen. It was some good clean fun seeing what I could do with the first three songs. Cheers to a successful tour to Dan, Tim, Ben, Mitchell and their crew.

Personally, witnessing the fleeting yet impressionable moments through my lens at Canyon is part of what makes each year a core memory for me. From an artists biggest tune in their set to a brief embrace of attendees in between stages, I feel these authentic interactions fuse together to create a greater sense of harmony among our community, which we all could use a bit more of. Such an honor to merely attempt to capture these moments as well—so they all have the chance to last a bit longer.

✨ And remember: the light we can harness does not only exist on the main stage.

Thank you @petermarks for seeing me and trusting my love for the Canyon Family. An experimental portrait of @dorwand at @groovewellvacation for their 10 year anniversary celebration with an exquisite 3-day experience.

Art installation by @dpenales ✨

Note: This approach of mine creates improvised multiple captures exposed and layered in-camera using different elements found around the current environment. No post processing is involved. Since about a decade, it’s the closest way I’ve found I can experience a certain level of uniqueness similar to the magic of using film while staying digital. On a more personal level, it also allows me to draw connections with music, people and locations I never would have made otherwise.

Thank you for having me. A special thanks to Sarah, Jake, Will and Paul along with those involved with stage production, media team and project management that allowed for a meaningful time working together.

Trustfall aka @chelstarc for @canyonvibration yesterday afternoon. Such fun selections during their set. Also, this one is telling me to experiment more with daytime stacking. I typically use the multiple exposure mode at night where the image contains more darker values for the presiding captures—so they don’t get blown out. Anyways, stoked with some of these. Being around so many loving and supportive friends definitely played a part in walking away with these results. ✨ Music continues to heal and celebrate the healing we have done and even the future opportunities for healing we’ve yet to experience. 🌀 taken in Tygh Valley, Oregon by @drewcornwall_plus

@discoveryz0ne x @crystalballroom // Note: For this show, I knew that pumping the brakes on using the multiple exposure technique was necessary in order to convey an accurate depiction of JJ’s 3-D production. However, I did squeeze a couple in for fun. Bringing out the GFX 100 for straight, clean and realistic results was a wise choice. Yet, reality inevitably shifts when you witness a performance from Discovery Zone. taken in Crystal Ballroom by @drewcornwall_plus

I was first introduced to Kelly Lee Owens here in Portland by a dear friend and got to see her perform a live set at @holoceneportland and of course—immediately purchased her record and became an admirer. So it was sweet to spontaneously get to see her dj set with @cariboumusic in LA last week. There’s some other images I’m fond of but here are these… taken in Los Angeles, California by @drewcornwall_plus
