Why I brought back the show

When I was working in finance, living a life that didn’t feel fully aligned, it was podcasts that opened up new possibilities

They introduced me to ideas, perspectives, and people I never had access to before

Psychedelics. Entrepreneurship. Consciousness. Wellness. Aliens. All the shit

Conversations that made me question what was possible and what kind of life I actually wanted to live (oh shit, there’s a choice?)

Back then, I didn’t even know there were other options
I never would of taken LSD if it wasn’t for pods
Not sure how look it would of taken me to leave my finance job

It didn’t take away the fear or the challenges but it did show me there are many ways to go through this human experience

Alternative media has this power, it’s the first time in history that so many people are given platforms and a voice

So I started this show with the intention:

To have real, meaningful conversations with people I admire and feel can add value to the 🌎

To shine light on alternative paths
To share ideas that spark something inside you and inside me (selfishly)
To amplify voices that matter

In a world obsessed with noise, I’m here for the signal

In a time of AI and algorithms, I still believe in human to human connection will never fade

And if even one episode hits someone like those early podcasts hit me…

Thats a win, that’s the mission

We’ve got some incredible guests coming in 2026
Can’t wait to see where this goes
Thanks for being part of it 🤝

New episode with @michaelchernow is live.

This one hit me hard.

Michael flatlined on heroin at 23. Then he went on to co-found The Meatball Shop and build Seamore’s into two of New York’s best-known restaurants. Today he’s 22 years sober, husband, a dad to two boys, host of The Michael Chernow Podcast, and the founder and CEO of @kreaturesofhabit .

We talked about the house he grew up in, the mentor who handed him a plan, and why he says “I’m grateful for my 11 years of addiction.”

Thank you, Michael. For going there. And for being an incredible human and an inspiration to many.

22 years SOBER, 13 restaurants built 🙏

I interviewed @meatball_shop, @seamorpsnyc and @kreaturesofhabit founder @michaelchernow at @runningmanfest and asked him what SUCCESS really means!

I asked him how he went from bartender and addict to building multiple successful businesses.

I also asked him what success means when it’s not about the money.

Lastly, I asked him what he would tell his younger self about success and how to achieve it!

Full interview out now on YouTube 🎥

I’m not going to pretend money doesn’t matter…

I want it. I’m working for it every day. Money buys freedom, options, and time with the people you love.

But it’s not everything.

We all know people who have the money, the status, the success, and still aren’t fulfilled.

The more I live, the more I realize what we’re actually chasing isn’t money.

It’s fulfillment. Its freedom. It’s self-love. It’s living in alignment with who you are.

Money can be part of the journey. It just can’t be the point.

The internet can introduce you to your people. Real life is where you actually get to know them.

Incredible weekend at Running Man. Already looking forward to the next one.
