An entire book about the cheese of France runs the risk of being dense and boring, but A Cheese Monger's Tour de France by @cheesetastingco is charming and informative from the first couple pages.

I especially appreciated how Palmer connects the climate crisis to changes in our food ways. It leaves room to grieve for lost art while asking prompting the reader consider: How can we hold on to tradition in this existential crisis? Can traditional cheesemaking be a climate solution?

Also, peep the second slide: Palmer included many pages at the end of the book which I assume are for notes. I drew a map of France and its cheese regions.
