Driftwoods

Califano linked the two venues for a seamless event experience inspired by film maker Wes Anderson’s aesthetic.

A bell boy check in entrance greeting and a Bloody Mary and Bellini mini bar on Woods Quay framed embarkation onto our contemporary river cruiser, Driftwoods.

From there, Opus II delivered a grazing menu throughout the decks from bespoke bars, with our central main bar being converted into a live pasta kitchen.

All surrounded by Wild at Heart blooms.

Adults were entertained with a live band by ALR Music and Push Button to Order cocktail booth with Sharky & George thrilling the children in a river themed treasure hunt and speed boat rides from Tower Bridge.

When an event even has its own Mathilde Heu illustrated map drawn onto the windows and branded stationary graphics by TPD Design House, you know it’s going to be extraordinary.

Thank you Califano.

Thinking of an autumn celebration on the Thames? Why not blend Woods Quay and a river yacht?

Here’s a wonderful example of the mix from Califano @califanoproductions

Celebrating L.O.V.E

Charlotte & Kyle’s rehearsal dinner aboard Driftwoods brought together family and friends for Thames views, toasted celebrations and a party lasting long after sunset.

Beneath Driftwoods’ floor-to-ceiling glass, guests arrived to Champagne with Smoked Haddock Arancini, Welsh Rarebit and Atlantic Prawn Cocktail rolls as the golden hour light warmed Tower Bridge.

Throughout the evening, the floating pavilion filled with laughter, speeches and lively food stalls with butler-trays sent roving through the crowd.

As the twilight light faded into night, the conversations and dancing flowed until the early hours.

Photographer Ira Lippke captured the mood aboard beautifully as guests admired the London riverscape through the glass walls and open decks.

If you would like to celebrate love, friendship or family aboard Driftwoods, we can smoothly book and plan within a few emails.

POV the only way to transport your guests to your wedding. They had no idea where they were going. The invites just asked them to arrive at Tower Bridge Pier

Our early Spring menu is ready for private events aboard Driftwoods, leading into the bounty of Summer.

Feast tables or to wander and graze all night?

A menu of pure modern British food porn awaits.

Driftwoods features the very highest quality of seasonal, sustainable ingredients arriving from UK farms and fisheries straight into the immaculate, two-floor galley.

Bringing the Australian heat to London’s winter skies - a Christmas cruise…. But make it Bondi ☀️

Guests sipped blue-glass margaritas, savoured a three course feast (think salt baked beetroot, glazed short rib and poached pears 🍐) and danced amongst a dazzling guest list of celebrated creators.

A bar stocked with Bondi Sands favourites and seasonal serves, twinkling trees and beautifully designed tablescapes set the scene from dusk to dock.

Swipe through to step aboard, and get in touch to book your very own winter escape 🌊✨
