I want to thank the Lyman House 3rd floor (freshman 🥳) students @whitmancollege for helping me meet my exercise goals for the next month 😅
My first fall as a move-in volunteer was a success - thankful for the Consent Cab popsicle to cool me down a bit 🩷

*No pics of students because I didn’t get their consent to post them… I promise they were there ☺️ taken in Lyman Hall by @drjamonthegram

Sure, it’s a little premature to post this but ya’ll! My heart 🥺
To see a vision I dreamt of and manifested come to fruition… without me. I am excited, proud, and sad all at the same time.
I envisioned a sustainable garden and event space for Black students primarily, but kept the whole campus in mind as it’s a space where faculty can bring their classes to learn about water harvesting, native landscapes, and sustainable building materials.
When it’s done, students will have a space to plant seeds, stay cool(er) outdoors, and hold events…
The Seeds of Resilience courtyard @mlk_uofa is almost ready for planting 🙂🌱🖤

Do you believe a better world is possible? I do. And I know it’s up to us to create it. Join me and other women who feel the same at the Embodied Woman Collective on Skool. Let’s get started!

Excited to announce the unveiling of my newest project: The Comeback Classroom!

Born from my own layoff experience last year, this space was created with deep intention for anyone navigating the shock, grief, and uncertainty that can come when “job security” disappears overnight.

Because a layoff isn’t just a career disruption… It’s emotional, it’s personal, and it can shake how you see yourself.

The Comeback Classroom is here to remind others:
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
And this is not the end of your story.

This is a space for rebuilding confidence, clarity, and the next chapter.

Find The Comeback Classroom inside the Embodied Woman Collective on the Skool platform. Link in bio, let’s write the future together!

I’ve often wondered the last 7 months, who these other women are. Were they as heart broken as I was? What are they doing now?
I’m hoping to find out; I created a free online community just for us. Please help me spread the word!

I've always struggled to meditate and been embarrassed by that struggle. Here I am, claiming for decades to be "spiritual", but could never get the hang of meditating.
Until now. I learned SO much from this program and from @ashbrown.meditation; I have so much gratitude to finally (!) include meditation as a part of my daily practice ❤️

7 days until I launch something deeply personal - a project that came out of forced rest and an opportunity to reconnect with myself and my ancestors. A project that bridges what I’ve learned as an educator, leader, and knowledge seeker.

Over the years, I’ve helped others find belonging and purpose and develop their inherent strengths. Now I’m exploring how those same truths show up in our birth charts - how the stars reveal the blueprint of who we are and who we’re becoming.

✨ Introducing Black Star Wisdom: a space where intellect meets intuition, where I’m hoping to create a space to imagine a world beyond the systems we’re used to.

Join me @blackstarwisdom for the unveiling 🖤 (and tell your friends!)
