Your vision isn’t random. It’s unique to you.
You don’t need to see the full staircase. Just take the first step. I did, and I’m still walking by faith, not sight.

That faith has sustained us for almost 7 years now to the point of winning awards.

Most recent in the bag: 🥇
Most trusted and innovative aromatherapy sales brand of 2024/2025. An award determined by our customer satisfaction, thanks to African Brands Awards by Silverbird TV.

Tag someone sitting on a God-given dream and remind them it’s time to start!👇🏽

Collaborating to Empower the Next Generation of African Healthcare Leaders:

The African Leadership Academy (ALA) develops the next generation of African leaders to drive transformative change on the Continent. Through the Africa Career Networks (ACN), ALA connects young leaders, employers, funders, and policymakers across priority sectors, including health.

The AL for Health Network nurtures young African health leaders, providing job and internship opportunities, funding, and skills-building experiences that accelerate their growth and impact.

Partnerships are central to our mission, unlocking mentorship, placements, and resources to drive meaningful impact. We are seeking employer partners, research mentors, coaches and subject-matter experts to collaborate across different programs.

Together, we can:
·      Build a pipeline of ethical and passionate African health leaders.
·      Support groundbreaking research focused on the African continent.
·      Scale locally driven innovations that solve pressing healthcare challenges.
·      Influence health policy and outcomes across various African regions.

Excited about partnering with us? Indicate your interest here (link also in my bio), and we will be in touch: https://forms.office.com/r/n8wRqx4UUn

An all women fireside dialogue?! Yes pleeeeeease! 😁
Thoroughly loved moderating the chat about ‘Investing in Possibility’ at the African Leadership Festival with 3 incredible women:

- Malilomo Nkhabu from Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom
- Mwikali Esther from Small Foundation
- Tumelo Molope from Colgate-Palmolive

This panel brought together leaders representing some organizations that have chosen to invest in Africa’s next generation, not simply through funding, but through partnership, trust, mentorship, and a long-term belief in young people’s potential.

We had a honest and reflective conversation exploring what inspired these investments, what has been learned along the way, and what the future of investing in African leadership should look like.

Across Africa, we often speak about investing in health, infrastructure, technology, businesses, and innovation. But perhaps the greatest investment we can make is in people; in young leaders whose ideas, passion, and courage have the potential to transform communities, institutions, and entire systems.

The conversation around funding and partnerships as a catalyst for youth leadership and development is one that has been around for decades now. A lot of times when we have this conversation, the focus is on the organisations and what actions they are taking as part of corporate social responsibility and giveback to their communities. What does this funding ecosystem look like currently? Why do funders choose to invest in youth leadership programs?

But the other part of this conversation is from the perspective of the demographic being funded; the youths. How are these relationships being nurtured over the years? How are we building trust and accountability between partners, funders and the youths being funded? How have these investments shaped the journeys of young leaders?

Let’s say we’re back here in 2036, what changes would we love to see have taken place over 10 years? And what should the leadership investment in Africa look like by then?

I had a lovely time moderating this fireside dialogue about ‘Investing in Possibility’ at the 2026 African Leadership Festival in Johannesburg, with these amazing panelists:

- Malilomo Nkhabu from Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom
- Mwikali Esther from Small Foundation
- Tumelo Molope from Colgate Palm Olive.

A nice all women panel. I just had to add this in. 🤭😎😉 taken in African Leadership Academy by @drkay_

Imagine if Peter & John had come out to say:

“We had to fast 40 days and 40 nights to perform this miracle.”

“In fact it was because we tarried for 72 hours non stop that we had the power to do this…”

But they did not! Because it was not by their performance or holiness that they had raised the lame man.

It was ALL GOD and they could not take any credit for it!

The performance of man is not what brings the Power of God, the presence of God in dwelling is all that is needed.

God anointed us with the Holy Ghost and Power!

Before you make an idol out of your prayer routines, your fasting or your morality. Check your heart.

God is not good because you fasted or prayed. He is Good because he is Good. It’s His nature.

The ground didn’t have to perform oh! It did nothing! All that happened was that God’s Spirit came and dwelled upon it!

I say again, how much more we that have the Spirit of God WITHIN, not just UPON.

My consciousness is that I’m God’s Son! My slips, flaws and imperfections don’t change that!

As a Son I will represent my Father well, but that does not mean that when I mess up, he’s no longer my Father.

I’m not a sinner, I have been made RIGHTEOUS!

The devil takes advantage of ignorance to keep believers bound. The sooner you wake up to your In-Christ realities, the easier your walk with God will be, and you will realise all of the victories that have already been won.

Stop anticipating punishment! God is not mad at you!

Ohhhhhh this one!!! What the Law could not do, Christ did it once for all sin, once for all time and once for all men!

Oh what Joy!!! I’m eternally forgiven! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

This makes me want to read the whole of Job again in this new light. Job was sacrificing ahead: Just in case in one of their parties, his children may have offended God.

PS: Theologians say Job is the oldest written book of the Bible.

He took Esau’s clothes, even added goat skin to feel hairy like his brother. His father said the voice is that of Jacob, but the skin and smell is that of Esau.
Because of the Esau he smelled and felt, he gave him the blessing.

Stay with me…

Jacob was afraid of what would happen if his father found him out! taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @drkay_

I’ve been without my car for 5+ months now, and if there’s anything this period has taught me, it is to be grateful for mobility. Dealing with Uber and Bolt drivers requires special patience and temperance that only the Holy Spirit can give. 😂😫

I miss being able to just get ready, grab my car keys and head out. Without dealing with taxi requests, drivers adding extra to the prices, unkempt cars, rude drivers, rough driving, high drivers! Omo the list is long! 😳🫨

If you’ve dealt with a Mercedes C class, you understand how crazy it can be once you begin to have engine issues, and all of this started because of bad fuel bought from a station close to Abuja airport!!! 🤦🏽‍♀️

Anyway in all this, I’ve learnt gratitude for my privileges. All I can see God is preparing me for a car upgrade. I bought my first two cars for myself, so the next one is definitely going to be a gift. (The person God will use to gift me the new car is going to see this, and he will tease me about it when he does) 😂🤭🥳

How has your weekend been?

“Where God’s love is, there is no fear, because God’s perfect love drives out fear. It is punishment that makes a person fear, so love is not made perfect in the person who fears.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭NCV‬‬

“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“If we really love God, we will not be afraid of him. We cannot love him completely and also be afraid. We would only be afraid of God if we thought that he would punish us. So, if someone is afraid that God will punish them, it shows that they do not completely know God’s love.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭EASY‬‬

Have a flourishing week ahead with Great Grace! ❤️
