Today, I’m deeply honored to share that I have been appointed President of TruFund Financial Services, Inc.

More than 15 years ago, my journey with TruFund began through its work in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. I could not have imagined then where that journey would lead.

For me, this appointment is about more than a title. It is about stewardship. Honoring what has been built, strengthening the institution we have today and helping prepare TruFund for what comes next.

I am grateful to our Board of Directors for its confidence, to James H. Bason for his leadership and partnership, and to the entire TruFund team for the work you do every day to advance our mission.

I’m excited about what’s ahead and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help lead this next chapter.

The title may change, but the mission remains. Let’s get to work.

The enemy tried to steal our marriage so many times… BUT GOD!!!

On the day I married my best friend, I could not have known all that life would ask of us. I didn’t know every mountain we would have to climb, every storm we would have to weather, or every moment when our love, our faith, and our commitment would be tested.

There were times when what God joined together came under attack. Times when it would have been easier to walk away than to fight for us. Times when the enemy tried to convince us that what was broken could not be restored.

BUT GOD.

God covered us. God kept us. God healed us. God matured us. And when we didn’t have enough strength of our own, grace carried us.

Today, I don’t just celebrate the day I married my best friend. I celebrate every day since that we have chosen each other. I celebrate the prayers nobody heard, the battles nobody saw, the forgiveness that made room for healing, and the love that became deeper because it survived something.

Marriage isn’t the absence of hard seasons. Sometimes the testimony is that you went through the fire and came out still holding hands.

And after all these years, through every high, every low, every lesson, every blessing, and every battle, I can still look at you and say…

I would choose you again.

The enemy tried.

BUT GOD has the final say.

Here’s to us. Here’s to YEAR 20. Here's to 20 more. Here's to the covenant. To the friendship. To the love. And to everything God still has ahead for us.

Well… we have a Vera Wang bride!

Yesterday, she said YES to the dress!

And just like that, this whole wedding thing got a little more real.

I won't give away any details, but what I can say is... the dress is absolutely HER. And she is going to be a beautiful bride.
