Today, my heart is full of gratitude. ❤️

I’ve been in GO mode all year. Building, working, creating, figuring things out, and doing everything I can to continue making a difference in the community we serve.

And today was one of those moments that reminded me why I keep going.

I want to sincerely thank TruFund Financial Services for thinking enough of me and Allstar Community Care to make us one of their stops today.

It’s one thing for an organization to support you in purchasing a building. It’s another thing for them to continue supporting your journey, believing in your vision, and recognizing that the work you’re doing in your community is worth sharing with others.

Today, I had the opportunity to open our doors, share our story, talk about the work we do, the people we serve, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the vision I still have for this space.

And I don’t take any of that lightly.

One thing I’ve learned in this season is that you don’t always have to go looking for the room. Sometimes God will bring the room right to you.

I’ve spent so much of this year simply trying to get to the other side. And through it all, I’ve continued to trust God, remain intentional, and keep showing up.

So if there’s anything I want somebody to take away from this, it’s this:

KEEP GOING.

Even when things get hard. Even when nobody sees what you’re carrying. Even when you’re not sure how everything is going to work out.

Keep doing the work. Keep believing in what God has placed in your heart. Keep making a difference, even when you don’t know who’s paying attention.

Because sometimes, while you’re busy doing the work, God is already making room for you in places you haven’t even thought about.

To everyone who took the time to visit Allstar today, thank you for listening, for seeing the value in what we do, and for allowing me to share a little piece of our journey.

I am grateful. I am humbled. And I am still very much intentional about what comes next.

I didn’t have to go find the room. God brought the room to me.

Some trips you take. Some trips become part of you. 🤎

Vineyard memories, new experiences, Black history, beautiful moments, and getting to experience it all with my mom. 🌊✨

If this is part of God’s plan, I’m grateful for every chapter. 🥂

Nothing like spending quality time with my boo. He's the only therapy I need.

This weekends date took us to T's Brunch Bar for brunch...a day exploring Marietta Square and an ice cream date at a local ice cream shop.

She wanted to be sure his hair was right for his set...the love, care and adoration between these two is a blessing to witness. This is what's important. This is a display of God's love in action.

This is our prayer for them...Follow their journey on TikTok @Sam&Lexi

A perfect ending to a purpose-filled week ❤️

Dinner at The Third Space with powerhouse woman of faith Dr. Kim Carter Evans — a true force making sure entrepreneurs in under-resourced communities receive capital AND coaching to grow.

And Chef Shai… when he says “I got you,” he means it. Every bite intentional, every course love.

Best moment? Seeing Chef Cameron Byron in the kitchen. I’ve known him since elementary school and now he’s learning under Chef Shai. Mentorship in real time. Full circle.

7 years later and it still feels like family.
Full heart. Full belly. And yes… a little ROI too 🙌🏾

This past weekend we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and 10 year life-aversary (when God saw fit to keep him here to complete his assignment on earth)

Ten years ago just after we celebrated his 40th, we didn’t know if he would live to see another birthday. There were real health battles and a whole lot of prayer.

So watching him stand full of love at 50 did something to me.

What many don’t know is he wasn’t even planning to celebrate this milestone. That’s who he is. He doesn’t look for applause. He doesn’t expect to be honored. And if I’m honest, I think there’s still a quiet place in him that wrestles with feeling worthy… and maybe even wonders if people would truly show up for him.

This past weekend, you answered that.

You showed up.

You showed out.

You loved him well.

To each of you who came, every hug, every toast, every moment mattered more than you know.

To the man who pours into everyone else…and does very little for himself...I will always remind you that you are worthy of celebration too. I will always show up for you!!! Walk in your power. Walk in expectance. Let go of all limiting beliefs...only speak life and abundance over your life. Believe and know that you are worthy and this is only a glimpse of all God has in store for you...but YOU must believe.

And to our village, thank you for helping make 50 unforgettable.

While the guys are away… the ladies brunch.

Not just anywhere though. At the Versace Mansion.

Sipping 24 karat gold at the table like this is just what we do.

Gold mosaics. Medusa energy. Lobster Benedict. Champagne flowing. Soft life activated.

When women gather in beautiful spaces, the conversation gets richer, the laughter gets louder, and the vision gets bigger.

South Beach understood the assignment.

VERY LONG POST ALERT...BUT WORTH THE READ...

Sometimes people say..."why they flossin'?"

Why we post the trips

Why we celebrate the wins.

Why we show the milestones.

Let me say this clearly.
It is not arrogance. It is obedience.
There is a difference.

When God blesses you publicly after He built you privately, you do not hide what He has done. You steward it. You testify through it. You let people see what favor looks like when it rests on surrendered obedience.

We show the blessing because He said, “Let them see.”

Not so they envy.

Not so we boast.

But so they believe.

Because there are people watching who knew the struggle.

They remember the tears.

They remember the no’s.

They remember the rebuilding seasons when nothing looked glamorous.

They need to know from whence you came.

They need to see what happens when discipline meets faith.

When prayer meets preparation.

When obedience meets opportunity.

The blessing is not random.

It is not luck.

It is not overnight.

It is favor.
And favor has fingerprints.

So when we celebrate, it is not “look at us.”
It is “look at God.”

It is a reminder that He is still in the business of elevating those who stay planted.

That generational ceilings can break.

That restoration is real.

That overflow is possible.

We move in humility.

We remember the valley.

We give credit where it belongs.

But we will not dim what He illuminated.

Because somebody needs to see the evidence.

And when they ask why we flossing…

We smile and say:

We are just showing what obedience looks like when it blooms.
