It was fun to be back at Joe Aillet Stadium for a Tech football game tonight. It’s where my career in athletic training began almost 30 years ago. The stadium has changed a lot since then but the energy in Ruston and love for the dawgs has not! We got to see my daughter who is a freshman at Tech and sit with her for a short time. When I was talking about my days at Tech my son said “How was it in the old times dad?” 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Plus we came from behind and beat ULL!

Four years ago today, Twin City Chiropractic opened its doors.

Looking back at these pictures, it’s hard to believe how much has changed since 2022.

What started as an idea has grown into a practice we’re incredibly proud of, and that’s because of the people who have trusted us along the way.

Over the last four years, we’ve had the opportunity to care for athletes, parents, professionals, students, families, and people simply trying to stay active and keep doing the things they love.

That has always been the bigger goal at TCC.

Not just helping people feel better, but helping them move better, function better, and keep doing the things that matter to them.

We’re grateful for every patient, every referral, every kind word, and every person who has supported this office since day one.

Four years down. We’re just getting started.

With our girls’ high school soccer careers coming to an end this year, I was going back through pics I had taken at soccer games and found these. Matthew’s 1st game and his last game. His Lady Rebel t-shirt finally fit him! 7 seasons & lots of road trips. He went to so many soccer games at Rebel Stadium that when we took him to his first Rebel football game, he thought it was so cool that they played football in the soccer stadium. 😂 by @drkylenix

I’ve waited several days to post this because I wasn’t sure how to sum it all up. And honestly, every time I read your end-of-soccer post, I teared up and couldn’t bring myself to write anything of my own.

After playing for the first time at 4 years old, to not playing again until 7th grade, then starting in middle school and all four years of high school — I think you did pretty great.

I’m so proud not only of how you performed and led, but of how you celebrated your teammates’ successes just like they were your own.

Over the last four years of Lady Rebel soccer, you didn’t just become a better soccer player—you became a better person and leader. You led with both your words and your actions. You grew into someone who pulls effort out of others by first showing it yourself.

Coach Barron likes to use the word GRIT to describe his girls, and I feel like you embodied that every time you stepped on the field. For some reason, teams always liked to play dirty against us and try to push us around. I never wondered if you’d get pushed down. I always wondered how hard you’d push back.

I don’t know how you played in some of that freezing weather. I don’t know how you stayed on your feet after taking soccer balls to the face. But I do know this: you never backed down, and you always fought until the very end.

I’m proud of how you contributed wherever your team needed you in the field. I’m going to miss announcing your name in the starting lineup, calling your goals, and watching you compete.
