Super proud of our Captain and no 23 @winger_4life11. My little man, who doesn’t turn 12 until December 2025 is excitedly waiting to start his next opportunity on trial with @chelseafc

Apparently he’s a rare find and testament to our @nplyouthfootball total football philosophy. Alex is one of several players in my team who aged just 10-11 are strong on both feet and can cover multiple positions including goal. As a mum, youth team manager and UEFA C coach I’m delighted to see this team cooking nicely. With Alex away with school, the team fought back yet again to draw 3-3 away against a good Bracknell Town side⚽️💫💪🏽🧤🔥 He is a Christian lad who thanks God everyday for his football gifts ✝️

To think he almost quit the game aged 5 after experiencing racism at a football camp😮‍💨 Thanks to @wemakefootballers @pdacoaching @nplyouthfootball for keeping him going and @uk_football_trials for taking such good care of him 💕and to his coach @dzfennecs26 @_starplayerltd ,friends, school and family for encouraging him so much and praying for him. Whatever happens he’s loving his football journey.

What a beautiful month it is and what a beautiful name it is……✝️you know our song🥰It was a wonderful Friday evening as a guest of @barclaysprivatebank @barclaysuk at the @powerlistmagazine Celebration of Black Excellence 2026. To see the incredible Afua Kyei top the list and hear wonderful speeches from @vanessawilliamsofficial and the fighter that is @kanyakingcbe brought tears to my eyes. There were so many inspiring stories heard it felt like @prideofbritain honestly.

It was great to catch up with so many people and meet new people who will surely inspire and push me to new heights. The energy, love and encouragement in the room was awesome. It was great to see @officialchrishughton @frankbrunoboxer @chriseubanksnr @timcampbell_mbe the ageless @rudolph_walker_ Michael Eboda MP Dawn Butler Baroness Valerie Amos @sholamos1 all out and with their dancing shoes on🥰 Then on to speaking at the fantastic The Power of A Testifying Woman event on Saturday. My heart is full and my cup is overflowing. Lord, I thank you for the countless blessings in my life, my voice and my people. Last Friday it was terrific to be able to cover the first ever talk on Narcissistic Abuse in Dentistry at the @dentistryshowcs. It was a fantastic way to mark World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10th October and do a representative talk during Domestic Abuse Month.

This year ahead I’ll be engaging with events through @women_dentists_network @bupadentalcareuk and @nhsengland as we work to highlight the awareness, recognition and management of domestic abuse in the dental setting and beyond.

I have also designed a course @rec_laimingyourtruth for those looking for additional resources.

What a brilliant experience being surrounded by some of the brightest minds in dentistry — learning, connecting, laughing and celebrating just how far our profession continues to evolve.

From aesthetics, digital dentistry and AI to whole-body wellness, business and the future of patient care — Dentown was a reminder that dentistry today is about so much more than teeth.

For me, after 25 years in dentistry, I still LOVE discovering something new, meeting people who inspire me and coming home with fresh ideas for our patients and team at Mill Hill Dental Practice. ❤️

Today would have marked 21 years of marriage.

For a long time, I imagined this date would always mean celebrating how far we had come together.

Instead, this year it means something different.

It means reflecting on how far I have come.

One of the hardest lessons after the end of a long relationship is accepting that moving on doesn’t mean pretending it never mattered.

Twenty years mattered.
The memories mattered.
The family we created mattered.
The woman I became through those years mattered.

But endings matter too.

Sometimes a chapter closes not because the whole story was a mistake, but because it can no longer be the place where your future lives.

Healing has taught me that you can grieve what you thought your life would look like and still become excited about what it might look like next.

You can miss parts of the past without wanting to return to it.

You can forgive without forgetting the lessons.

You can love what came from a chapter while accepting that the chapter itself is over.

And eventually, you stop measuring your life by what you lost and start noticing everything you are rebuilding.

So today, I’m not celebrating an anniversary.

I’m honouring the journey.

The woman who stayed.
The woman who survived the ending.
And most importantly, the woman who finally understood that starting again is not failure.

Sometimes starting again is the beginning of becoming yourself again. ❤️

Here’s to healing, peace, purpose and whatever beautiful chapters God still has waiting for me.
