Lecturing on high risk skin cancers and skin cancer surgery at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting. A topic near and dear to my heart, the treatment of high risk skin cancers requires knowledge of which tumors may be high risk and understanding how to best treat less common and aggressive tumors. In addition it requires specialized surgical techniques, including Mohs micrographic surgery a common and important treatment that I am trained in and perform every day. #aad2023 #skincancer #skincancersurgeon by @drmarylstevenson

Inspired this weekend by a woman who came up to me and told me she had learned a lot from my posts. Grateful to be helping people learn about their skin and skin cancer treatment and prevention. This weekend isn’t that sunny but on my face today is: @larocheposayusa mineral spf for the face followed by @erborian_usa cc cream for a little tint. No makeup but put the latter on with a beauty blender to avoid color on my hands. And then spf on my neck, ears and hands too—places we tend to forget and where I see skin cancers often. #spf #skincare #dermatologist #mohssurgeonn #skincancerprevention by @drmarylstevenson
