Celebrating Chris’ birthday a little early Sunday! So fun seeing the kids enjoy something him and I have always shared together. We even managed to bowl a few frames thanks to a little toddler screen time! So grateful for the memories we are making as a family! It is not easy! We survived Bennett’s first game! As the coach and competitor that I am - I am sad to report we got crushed! Hahaha. But juice boxes, fruit snacks and treat bags helped the team morale! We will get them next time. In all seriousness I am so proud of Bennett! Mainstream soccer, following directions and hanging in there is not easy! He did great! I am also so incredibly blessed to have such wonderful parents who helped get things ready (even though Grampy is back working again and traveling - he made the time), a husband who changed his work schedule to be there & a brother who drove over an hour on college football day!
