Is the 500km shoe rule real?

Stop waiting for motivation. Give yourself something to work towards.

Set a goal, build a running plan and book smaller races along the way. Having something in the calendar keeps you accountable and gives you a reason to keep showing up, even when you don’t feel like it.

I spend my week telling patients to sleep more, move more and look after their head. Q4 is me taking my own advice.

Four priorities for the rest of the year:
Sleep early.
Be intentional with friends and family.
Protect my wellbeing and mental health.
Run and train, because that’s what holds the other three together.

What’s on your list?

10 years + as a doctor and loving every moment even the tough times. Can’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store.
On another note, all that running got this @hawesandcurtisglobal suit fitting like a glove

$Everyone assumes an injury happens in one moment. Grealish’s didn’t. His stress fracture was weeks in the making, the match was just when the bone ran out of road #doctor #stressfracture #football #jackgrealish @everton #fypシ by @drnedu_$
