Testing out new workflows with a film study! 🎞️🎥 — Barry Lyndon has been sitting as my top film on @letterboxd for YEARS now haha! It’s SO GOOD🗣️ This is your gentle nudge to dedicate the time-block to watch it 🙂‍↕️ — The “new workflow” is using Blender as a “sketching medium” to quickly map out the perspective/masses and to roughly block in the diffuse local colors 🎨 (The top center image is how far I took it in 3D) This way I can place a rough 2D sketch to a camera and comfortably block out objects to scale for upcoming visdev pieces 👨‍🎨 — I’ve been exploring new ways to infuse 2D painting into 3D and once I get more comfortable/refined the process, I’ll share some fun workflows 🕺🏽 — #digitalpainting #conceptart #illustration #barrylyndon #stanleykubrick by @droman.art
