What an unforgettable run of The Bell Ringer in Dromcollogher! With every performance sold out, this powerful and deeply moving play has been a wonderful success and a very special part of our centenary commemorations.

Our heartfelt thanks to writer Charlie McCarthy, producer Joan Sheehy, director Geoff Gould and the two exceptional actors, Susannah de Wrixon and Patrick Ryan, for bringing this remarkable production to our town. Inspired by the 1926 Cinema Disaster, its story of imagined characters resonated deeply here in Dromcollogher.

Thank you also to @limetreetheatre Honest Arts and the entire creative and production team for the care, talent and dedication behind every performance. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the @deptculturecommssport and Minister @patrickodonovan_td in making this production possible.

To everyone who helped locally and everyone who filled the seats, thank you for making it such a memorable occasion. It has been a privilege to welcome The Bell Ringer to Dromcollogher. 🔔

I am proud to have taken part in the team that produced Dromcollogher Voices: Stories From the Town and Around !

This book grew out of a series of workshops arranged in cooperation with the @dromcollogher26 Centenary Committee, local writers, and students from Dromcollogher National School, with each group providing stories reflecting on their community and shared history around the 1926 Dromcollogher Cinema fire. As the Digital Content Intern at @fightingwordsireland , I joined the project as the sole graphic designer. I compiled the book cover, developed the visual style, and formatted the text and final edition for print. I really enjoyed giving these personal and local stories a place to be told and supporting them with a visual identity. I was very happy to attend the book launch at Dromcollogher Culture Night as part of the Centenary Commemorative Programme.

I would like to thank @fightingwordsireland , @limerickcityandcountycouncil , and @limericklibraries for supporting this book! by @dromcollogher26
