POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are thrilled to share that the DroneAid Collective had the honor of conducting a workshop for Ruben Brekelmans, the Minister of Defense, on August 23, just before Ukraine’s Independence Day 🇺🇦

What DroneAid Collective does in the Netherlands:
→ Support veterans during their rehabilitation
→ Accumulate expertise to advance the Dutch defense drone industry
→ Educate and prepare the civilian population

Over the course of 20 workshops, the DroneAid Collective has built 170 drones alongside Ukrainian veterans undergoing rehabilitation in the Netherlands, as well as Ukrainian refugees, Dutch veterans, and civilians from both the Netherlands and around the world.

Minister Brekelmans shared, “Drones have become an indispensable part of the modern battlefield. It was a special experience to build a drone myself today. I was deeply moved by the stories of the Ukrainian veterans who were present. We remain steadfast in our support for Ukraine, for as long as necessary. This is also in the interest of our own safety.”

We are committed to continuing our contributions to Ukraine’s fight against Russia and to supporting the Dutch defense industry.

🇳🇱🙌🇺🇦 Dank je wel, Nederland!

🇳🇱🤝🇺🇦 Today we hosted a DroneAid workshop with a great Dutch team who came to contribute to Ukraine’s victory and Europe’s defense by building 15 FPV drones for Ukrainian military units.

Huge thanks for your incredible work, dedication, and solidarity! 💪
We hope you enjoyed the experience, learned valuable skills, and will join us again for more workshops soon.

Together, we build — and together, we defend. 💙💛 by @droneaid.collective

Train as you fight.
Even in the air.

Proud to partner with @nassau420 and @daandohmen_ to bring frontline drone lessons into structured, scenario-based training in Europe.

Workshops. Real pressure. Real scenarios.
No theory without practice.

Together with @semper.vigil - building resilience where it matters.

Finally another "real" workshop! Last sunday we gathered at DroneAid Collective's new location in Utrecht and had a really productive workshop.

14 participants, 1 veteran, 7 instructors, all working together on the mission:

- Learn how to build FPV drones
- Interact with Ukranian veterans
- Deliver high quality drones to Ukraine

Mission accomplished! by @droneaid.collective

Last weekend, DroneAid ran parallel interceptor workshops across four cities Porto, Stockholm, Berlin, and Munich.

This level of coordination doesn’t happen on its own.

It’s the result of people who take responsibility for every step from learning the process to executing it with precision.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and did the work properly assembling, testing, asking questions, and fixing what didn’t work the first time.
To the mentors who ensured that every team understood not just what to do, but why it matters.
And to the organizers in each city who aligned everything so this could run simultaneously.

In every location, teams followed the same build process.

Not to standardize the process, but to ensure that every interceptor would perform reliably in real-world conditions.

50 interceptors were built.
The key outcome is not the number.

It’s the fact that this process can now be repeated across different cities, by different teams, without losing quality.

That’s how fragmented effort turns into a working system.

Keep building. by @droneaid.collective

Defense protects culture.

It is culture that gives us something worth defending.

That’s why for me, these two now go hand in hand.
I appreciate both more than ever.

One moment I’m building an FPV drone. The next, I’m making pysanky for Easter. Because protecting our future also means preserving who we are - it is what rиssia tries to take from us.

Please, consider making a charitable donation for drones @droneaid.collective ✅

Every contribution protects lives, homes, and the culture we refuse to lose.

#MadeByHousewives

P.S. The Housewives joke refers to Armin Papperger, CEO of Rheinmetall, who mocked Ukraine’s #drone production by saying:

“It’s Ukrainian housewives. They have 3D printers in the kitchen, and they produce parts for drones. This is not #innovation ...”

☝️Well, but I think “the crowdfunded DIY Drone Wars Ukraine unleashed upon the invaders is actually the pinnacle of innovation”, citing my very good friend. taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @droneaid.collective

Happy Birthday to Taras Shevchenko—the Prophet of Ukraine. We’re celebrating by launching #TheResistanceWall, a project where culture meets the front line.

Join us by illustrating Shevchenko or your own national icon with a drone and tag @droneaid.collective where we develop and assemble FPV drones specifically for the front line.
