PAINLESS INJECTIONS are one of the ways to win a patient over so they love you forever and ever!

My old boss taught me this trick (shoutout @drjawz ) and I swear by it ever since!
I basically don’t numb without it 😅
And my patients loveeee it I always get compliments!

Try it out (it’s only $5 each so $10 for a pack of 2) let me know what you think!

We’re told never to do in-house financing. But an empty chair isn’t free either.

DISCLAIMER not a rule, and not financial or legal advice
Just some ideas for y’all to think about!

Every office’s overhead and patients are different
This is just how we think about it! And our own thinking keeps changing too :)

Where do you draw the line? by @drteethboutique

HUGE FAN of endo ice before beginning!! Just because the lip/tongue is numb doesn’t mean the tooth is ready to go

we use so much endo ice in our office 🫨 (I kinda love the minty fresh smell hahahah)

free cosmetic consults, free emergency exams — obviously with insurance this isn’t an issue but for uninsured patients:

SAVE THE ENAMEL MAMMALS!! Hahahaha

Ok a few more things:

I tend to overshoot just a hair on the shade (if possible) in case the shade settles down and darkens just a little bit

Bleach does interfere with bonding
So after you like the color, take out the bleach and rinse everything out & let it settle for 2 weeks before you do your final composite closure by @drteethboutique

I honestly felt pretty lost on where I was going until the last year — year 5.

3 offices. Each one taught me such different things & I’ll be forever grateful for all my experiences

Year 3. I was like ‘is this it?’
I liked my 4 days a week job. But I felt like I should do something with my life
So I said should I apply to Endo?
But I didn’t want to give up the rest of general dentistry. I couldn’t imagine my day without a little bit of variety & I couldn’t imagine only doing root canals all day
(But realistically, I was also scared of rejection bc I heard about how difficult it was to get into Endo 🫣)

Year 4. I had a Kois trained boss and I saw how much love and passion he had for dentistry. I saw how he took his time, how he treated his staff.

Now I feel like all of my learning has spun me into the dentist I dreamed of at Year 0 — but honestly back then I didn’t know that was even truly possible

Full mouth rehabilitation cases.
Combining root canals, restorative dentistry, cosmetics all into one

And honestly I’ve never felt more alive 🫶🏻 by @drteethboutique

THE COMPARISON I always wanted to see so…. Here y’all go 🤩
THE ARTISTRY TO DENTISTRY

No case is perfect
And honestly I’m constantly in a battle between trying to be as conservative as possible while also delivering the best results possible

Once I saw this case while I was delivering I was like hold on I gotta grab my camera this is exactly what I used to wonder but never saw the pics for 🤣

Hope this helps!! 🫶🏻 by @drteethboutique
