A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming prospective students and their families to HSA for Architecture Day! We loved meeting each of you, answering your questions, and sharing a glimpse of life at Drury.

Architecture Day is an annual fall event that provides the opportunity to explore campus, meet our professors, connect with future classmates, and learn more about our architecture program and curriculum.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to all who helped make this year’s event possible. We loved having you on campus and look forward to seeing some of you next fall! taken in Drury University Hammons School of Architecture by @druryhsa

Our second-year students traveled to St. Louis, Missouri, last week for a day. They were able to explore the city together, experience a variety of works of art, landmarks and architecture.

Their stops included:
• Ebsworth House by Frank Lloyd Wright
• Powell Hall by Rapp & Rapp
• Pulitzer Arts Foundation by Tadao Ando
• Gateway Arch by Eero Saarinen
• Trivers Architecture

A great opportunity to experience architecture beyond the classroom and find inspiration in the places that shape our cities!
Thank you Cat Lillis @windows_3435 for the amazing pictures!

A study abroad experience is one of the most impactful parts of the HSA curriculum.

This past spring, two groups of third-year students traveled to Paris, France, and Rome, Italy, where they immersed themselves in a variety of courses, including design studio. Along the way, they explored iconic historical sites they had spent their first two years studying in the classroom, bringing their architectural education to life through firsthand experience.
