🇺🇸 As a general dentist quadrant dentistry fills my schedule. Mix of RCT, indirect, direct and extractions. If you don't know the basis of doing high quality quadrant dentistry, you may not be ready for full mouth dentistry and more comprehensive cases. 👀
Learn single tooth dentistry, then quadrant and then full mouth rehab cases 👌🏻

🇺🇸 Altered passive eruption. Invisalign, gingivectomy, 4 zirconia crowns👍🏻
A lot of things could've done different. Upper and lower rehab, no Ortho, crown lengthening in premolars, but finances compromise treatments. This is what we agreed together as patient and doctor. What would you've done different?
🇲🇽 Erupción pasiva alterada. Invisalign, gingivectomía, 4 coronas de zirconia 👍🏻 Se podrían haber hecho muchas cosas de forma diferente. Rehabilitación superior e inferior, sin ortodoncia, alargamiento de corona en premolares, pero las limitaciones económicas comprometen los tratamientos. Esto es lo que acordamos juntos como paciente y doctor. ¿Qué habrías hecho tú de forma diferente?

🇺🇸To see if a gingivectomy or crown lengthening is needed, numb the patient, do transulcular probing(TSP) - bone sounding. I had 5-6 mm of probing, did a wax up with my ideal height, gingivectomy leaving 3 mm of TSP. Let it heal 1 month and continue with crowns 🤟🏻
🇲🇽 Para determinar si se necesita una gingivectomía o un alargamiento de corona, se anestesia al paciente y se realiza un sondaje transulcular (ST) para sondear el hueso. Yo realicé un sondaje de 5-6 mm, hice un encerado con la altura ideal y una gingivectomía dejando 3 mm de ST. Se deja cicatrizar durante un mes y se procede con las coronas. 🤟🏻

Business update ✨

I’m so excited to share what we’ve been building behind the scenes.

On November 14th, Confi Dental Laboratory and The Women’s Alliance are coming together to host a special community event, and I’m incredibly excited to announce our guest speaker, Dr. Victor Cedillo Felix. ✨

Dr. Cedillo brings so much knowledge, experience and heart to the dental community, and I’m looking forward to creating a space where we can connect, learn and bring even more people together.

This event will also be an opportunity to connect with those interested in the HDA, hear who wants to get involved and explore what the next chapter of this community could look like.

I truly believe there is something powerful about bringing established leaders in dentistry together with the next generation, especially as our industry continues moving into a new digital era.

🇺🇸 Volunteering in Ensenada, México 🇲🇽 I couldn't go to Mexico for a couple of years due to migration issues and give community service. I got my green card, US subscription upgraded, So I can finally go again! Thanks @flyingsamsatucsd, awesome team, had a great time and such great help to the community for so many years now 👍🏻👍🏻
🇲🇽 Voluntario en Ensenada, México. No pude ir a México durante un par de años debido a problemas migratorios para dar servicio comunitario. Ya tengo mi residencia y ya puedo ir de nuevo! 🇺🇸 Initial contact was soft and food trap due to malposition. I did the 1st premolar first because of the malposition and then the second premolar 👍🏻 I know how to isolate 🤣
Majority of cases I see in social media are almost perfect, my dentistry is not perfect and I'll keep posting those cases 😉
🇲🇽 El contacto inicial fue suave y se la acumula comida debido a la malposición. Primero hice el primer premolar por su malposición y luego el segundo. 👍🏻 Sé cómo aislar! 🤣 La mayoría de los casos que veo en redes sociales son casi perfectos; mi odontología no es perfecta, pero seguiré publicando esos casos. 😉
