Democratic Socialists of America, San Francisco 🌹

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

DSA SF is releasing a public voter guide today, for the very first time in our chapter’s history: dsasf.org/vote

San Francisco’s working class is fighting a hostile takeover of our city’s democracy by the same forces undermining workers’ livelihoods around the globe. We are fighting for a better world, where our society is run by and for working people, not the wealthy. Our voter guide provides a clear socialist analysis of the measures and candidates on the ballot. We hope voters find our analysis valuable, and we hope it inspires people to join us in the fight for a better future, a fight that continues long after the votes are counted.

DSA SF is proud to endorse Reina Tello (@reina4boe) for School Board and Bunny McFadden (@bunny.the.doc) for City College Board!

Bunny and Reina are both community organizers and working mothers who stand with DSA SF in the fight for free and high quality education, securing the funding needed for thriving schools, and solidarity with education workers. They represent the movement of San Francisco’s working people protecting San Francisco’s vital public institutions against the onslaught of capital plundering the common good. The oligarch takeover of San Francisco began in public education. Bunny, Reina, and DSA SF believe it will end there too. by @dsa_sf

We ❤️ love San Francisco too much to let its tradition of direct democracy fade.

Leading scholar in public banking Dr. Thomas Marois writes on the lessons we can take from around the world about how the Public Bank Proposition B creates can help build the affordable housing San Franciscans need. Drawing on the proven successes of the world's 1,100 Public Banks which currently have over $90 trillion in assets.

More high quality, affordable housing is one of the many ways you benefit when your money stays here in San Francisco instead of going to Wall Street profits.

Vote Yes on B to unlock this opportunity to start an institution that will serve the people of San Francisco for generations!
