RAÍZ

🐸Our annual community project is here!

🪲This year, we are honored to showcase original works by POC youth, ages 4–11. These young artists not only created incredible pieces, but also brought them to life by performing and modeling their handmade animal masks.

🐢Their portraits were beautifully captured by the talented Fabian Guerrero (@fei_bian) and Yesi Fortuna (@yesi.sukilynn).

🐍Created in collaboration with assistants Danielle Edmonds (@globalpolitix), Z (@z______pinson), Ernest Smith (@_blackernest), and Sonny Christopher Martínez (@sonnybunny).

🦖Project directed by Natalia Eks (@inrgbandcmyk).

This is a DSGN FOR US production, made possible through the support of a grant from the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, hosted at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center. @dallasculture @oakcliffculturalcenter

-
🔴With that in mind, we are incredibly grateful to have received funding for our next project through the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture: “This is not a bottle. This is (…)”.
-
🔵Please DM us your email to be the first to learn more about this free, public art experience, which will take place at the Kleberg-Rylie Branch Library during the month of November.
