My baby girl is 5 today and sadly I’m not able to celebrate with her. But we got to spend a whole week having fun with my boy and doing all of our favorite fall stuff. She is wise beyond her years, she’s so funny, and she has a bigger heart than most. I am beyond proud to be her dad and I love her more than anything. I don’t know if perfect parents exist, I think you just choose love and time as many times as you can and hope they forgive for the rest. The time we get is always quality, the love we have is vast, and we have more fun than anyone I think. Happy Birthday my love, pumpkin patches, trampoline gyms, carving pumpkins, late night movies, good dinners, ripping packs, parks, picnics, haircuts, and some new toys were the best way to ring in your special day. FFOTR is done, big thank you’s to our Japan, Singapore, NZ and Aussie crews for taking such good care of us. Our team pulled me across the finish line whether they know it or not. So grateful to have a group of people who lift me up and remind me who I am and why I fell in love with this so many years ago. Sad to see our Summer start to start to wind down but what a blast we’ve had. Got to see old friends and my high school science teacher, went 65 on a jetski, and got to cross some bucket list venues off my list. Boston, NY, Minot, Cheyenne are all that’s left! 1st half of the US run is done! Some amazing shows and got to spend a few days at home. Was also so happy to have the fam out for Red Rocks and Ford Amphitheater in Springs. East coast and midwest are next, let’s go!! by @dsummersprogram

It’s been a long couple of weeks but we have a show I am so proud of and my Dad got to see me off at the Bridgestone! Spent a year waiting for the right time but with the help of @bkd.creative @alectakahashi, Luke Elrod, and @luke_taylor92 I finally got to be a part of the creative side of our live show. So happy with the changes and updates we’ve executed and it was wonderful to work with a group of people who are genuinely trying to deliver the best show they can. Made it all the more special to have my Dad, who’s first Nashville show was at The End, see our show in such a historic spot. Just very grateful for all of it. I had to say goodbye to my best friend today. I remember crying on the day I brought you home. We barely knew each other and I already understood that part of my heart was gonna break when you left. You guided me through losing a parent and helped me become one along the way. We have played and explored and eaten in more states than most people get to visit. You have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember and I’m gonna miss you more than I can convey, but we had a hell of a run and I was lucky to hold you all the way until the end. I hope you’re running the trails in the mountains, I hope you’re getting into the trash, and getting love from the people who love you most. I am so grateful you chose us, I am so happy to have all our memories, and even if I’m sad I am glad you’re at peace. I love you and I will always carry you with me.

Europe has been amazing to us. Need to extend a big thank you to the army of people who make all this possible, blessed to have some of the best of the best with us.
