Introducing: NikNak & Jameela For Computer Club v6.0, NikNak and Jameela come together for a special back-to-back set, bringing the energy of their all-female DJ collective @dub_sirens to the club. Dub Sirens is about creating space behind the decks as much as it is about what happens on the dancefloor, building confidence, sharing skills and making DJ culture more accessible to women, femme-presenting and trans+ people. Ahead of the party, NikNak and Jameela will host a free three-hour DJ workshop on the ground floor of the Howard Assembly Room Bar, giving participants dedicated time with DJ equipment alongside practical guidance, demonstrations and hands-on support. Free DJ Workshop 16:00–19:00 | Dub Sirens: DJ 101 Designed as an accessible introduction to DJing and open to all experience levels, DJ 101 is for femme-presenting people (trans+) who want the opportunity to learn, experiment and build confidence behind the decks. Whether you have never touched a set of decks before or already have some experience and want to develop your skills, NikNak and Jameela will take you through the fundamentals in a supportive, pressure-free environment, with plenty of time to get hands-on with the equipment and ask questions. The workshop is completely free to attend, and everyone who takes part will also receive a free ticket to Computer Club v6.0 that evening, where you can catch NikNak and Jameela going back-to-back as Dub Sirens move from the workshop to the dancefloor. 12 places only.
