My silly forehead & I will be around IRL this month!

Today (Sept 3rd) I'm in Belfast with the Oram Awards, doing a live set using only sounds created by Daphne Oram herself :)

Friday (Sept 4th), I'll heading over to Lindisfarne Festival for a bassy, bouncy DJ set!

On the 11th, Dub Sirens makes our Computer Club debut with a free 3 hour DJ workshop (very limited spaces left!) and a b2b DJ set with my fellow bass sis Jameela! If you love drum machines, bleeps & bloops, and live electronic music, you'll wanna come through!

Sept 12th - Teleporting straight over to Bristol for the UK DMC finals!

Then on Sept 18th & 19th, I'll be doing some live, experimental turntablism bits with incredible performers at the British Library for Gemma Cairney's "Immortal Sisterhood" shows!

Please send cool audiobook and/or anime recommendations!

Tickets are available in the usual spots - please grab them & support these amazing independent events!

In the meantime, my forehead & I shall hopefully see you soon...

Thank you @dub_sirens for having me at @subdubleeds last weekend! Was such a sick night, and it was so special seeing so many familiar faces.

This will be my last gig in the UK for a while, as I’ll be moving to the Southern Hemisphere for the foreseeable!!! So I am hugely grateful to @niknakdjmusic for giving me the opportunity to play at my favourite event out there 🫶🫶🫶

Leeds crew! Your gyal is playing SUBSDUB next month!! This undisputably legendary night has been the birthplace of my love for bass music and, prior to that, a mecca for countless dub and sound system pilgrimages, at once a fun playground and a place of deep musical awakening. Can't contain the joy to be performing alongside a bunch of absolute legends on October 5th, I mean just look at the monster lineup 💣💥💣

I'll be joining the sistrens from @dub_sirens, gonna open room 5 with a selection of my favourite 140 rollers, you can expect deep meditative vibes climbing up into a mountain of percussions and then who knows... come down to find out which summits the bass takes us to!

Shout out to the one and only @niknakdjmusic putting so much energy and love into this project 🧡 and @akajameela @felixculpah @p0rcelyn for sharing the decks, it's gonna be a blast!!

Come say hi, shake a leg, and let loose ❤️‍🔥🦵🤸‍♂️
