MOTHERHOOD.

There is SO much to unpack. From early labor, to active labor, a transfer from the birth center to the hospital, more labor, decisions to make in real time and the arrival of our first born...Aylani Joy Brown!

January 27th, 2026 is a date I will never forget. Every Mother has a birth story, and this is just a piece of mine. I am filled with deep gratitude for this gift of true transformation, strength, trust, and surrender. I would not have made it here without the support of my husband, doula, the nurse midwives, doctors, and staff that empowered me through this entire journey.

"God will never give you more than you can bear." This experience has opened me to understand my own power and capacity for great challenges all while remaining kind and exemplifying grace. My daughter is already a warrior after going through this transformative experience with me. She is teaching me how to prioritize what REALLY matters in any given moment.

I don't like plants...I am quite literally obsessed! 😍

Before my husband, my daughter, and my Miles, I had plants. The gift of nature kept me grounded in the Big Apple. It gave me something else to focus on. To care for. ♥️

Because baby believe me, there is nothing that I am missing. 💅🏿

I used to pray for and manifest the life that I have now. I'd be in tears some nights wondering when my dreams would become a reality. ✨️

Getting here took a lot of patience, trust, and the willingness to surrender to the process. Everything I have built was not by accident. It was created with intention. ☺️

While I am living inside of the life I used to fantasize about, my focus remains on gratitude. There is more that I want, but I am in awe of the life I am privileged to experience. 🙏🏿

LEGACY.

They say that the most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

Anyone can be a sperm donor, but it takes a real man to be a Father. I am grateful to have had my Dad in my life for 42 years. 42 years of support, guidance, and unconditional love. And now, watching the LOML become a Father to our daughter, has been a joy and a privilege to witness. I truly believe that Fatherhood is rooted in purpose and the ability to provide.

Happy Father's Day to all of the men who step up to raise their children selflessly. ❤️❤️❤️
