✨An evening of art, discovery, & conversation 🎨

Dublin Arts Council invites you to an intimate evening with two of Dublin’s most beloved public artworks: Jeppe Hein’s Modified Social Benches and Malcolm Cochran’s Field of Corn (with Osage Orange Trees).

Thursday, Oct 15

We’ll travel by bus between the sites, hearing from the artist and special guests along the way. Then we’ll gather back at Dublin Arts Council for drinks, seasonally curated food by @bleuandfig and conversation.

Celebrate the start of October with Joey Aich and opener N’Shai Iman at Sundays at Scioto on October 4th! From 4–6 pm at Scioto Park, enjoy free live music, hands‑on art making, and food trucks: Grilled Cheese Gangster and Rime Time Popsicles. 

Joey Aich is an independent hip-hop and rap artist known for his charm and electric stage presence. He strives to uplift and connect during his performances.

N'Shai Iman is a rising R&B and Neo-Soul powerhouse hailing from Detroit and currently based in Columbus, OH. Known for her "Quiet Storm" vocal style, she blends the soulful depth of neo-soul with the modern textures of indie R&B. Her versatility allows her to carry a stage with vulnerable original compositions while maintaining high crowd engagement through curated covers. by @dublinarts

Get ready! Mojoflo is bringing the groove on September 27th, with Paul Valdiviez kicking things off! Free concert, art making, and food trucks: Cousin's Maine Lobster and Cheesecake Girl from 4–6 pm at Scioto Park. It’s going to be a fun one. 

Mojoflo is a neofunk band known for thrilling stage performances, from aerial routines to Soul Train lines, by lead vocalist Amber Knicole. 

Paul is a multi-instrumentalist, entertainer, and educator who has been professionally teaching drums, piano, guitar, composition, and vocals for 15+ years. He performs both solo and in various groups including SugarCreek, Saved by the 90s, Doc Robinson, and Paul Valdiviez and the Devious Boys. by @dublinarts

September 20th is bringing all the good vibes — the Andy Shaw Band hits the stage with the lively Dublin Scioto High School’s Fiddle Frenzy kicking things off! Free music, art making, and food trucks Taco Mania  and The Cheesecake girl from 4–6 pm at Scioto Park. 

An independent band since 2005, the Andy Shaw Band takes a new approach to the reggae rock genre. After taking a 6 year hiatus, the band came back with more momentum than ever in 2024, as their two newest singles became the most-streamed songs of their discography in less than a year. 

Irish Fiddle Frenzy is made up of students in the Dublin Scioto High School orchestra program that perform Irish reels and jigs. Irish Fiddle Frenzy is active in community engagement, performing at places such as the Dublin Irish Festival, the Hilliard Senior Center, Story Point Senior Center, and local churches in the area as well as many school sponsored events. by @dublinarts

Join us this Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the Opening Reception of “Constructed Worlds.” Bringing together three female artists; Elham Bayati, Katie Davis, and Morgan Rose Free, who build their work from the materials of memory and everyday life.  Meet the artists, and enjoy light refreshments. 

The indoor spaces are accessible, with free admission and complimentary parking available right next to the facility.

Join us on September 13th for The Spikedrivers with opener Will Freed at Sundays at Scioto! Enjoy free live music from 4–6 pm at Scioto Park, plus food trucks Dirty Franks and Funnel Cake Station, and hands‑on art making. 

Debuting in 2003, the Spikedrivers captured listeners with a bluesy, upbeat, country-fried rock n’ roll sound. Now, their discography spans four studio albums and three live records.

The up-and-coming artist, Will Freed, captures the genres of blues and rock in guitar, harmonica, mandolin, and his vocals. by @dublinarts
