A menu that took us across Europe .. an author who sat down at the table to dine with us .. tables full of interesting people and conversation .. and a great new book to read! Missed it? Some books stay with you. This one comes with dinner, too. On Thursday, author Carla Vass joins us at The Sanderling to celebrate the release of her debut novel, The Rally.

The evening begins at 6 PM and includes a three-course dinner inspired by the book, conversation with Carla and a signed copy of The Rally to take home. Tickets are $95. Come hungry. Leave with something new to read.

Friends in Duck, NC: We’ve got a few spots left for dinner on Thursday!!! I wrote an entire book basically so I could have two amazing chefs curate a menu around all the incredible places my characters travel! I absolutely cannot WAIT for this and hope to see you if you’re in the area! (Also even if you’re not in the area you should absolutely come anyway because it’s the @sanderlingresort and @duckscottage who happens to have the BEST coffee and books in Duck!) by @duckscottage

A European road trip, served family style. For our October 15 Novel Supper with @carlavassbooks, the journey begins with burrata and Mediterranean antipasti, continues with Tuscan braised short ribs and lemon-herb roasted branzino, and ends on a sweet note with limoncello bread pudding and chocolate mosaic cake.

Between courses: conversation about The Rally with its author. Join us at the Lifesaving Station at 6 p.m. Your ticket includes supper, tax, gratuity, and a copy of the book. Explore A Novel Supper through Experiences at thesanderling.com.
