WE’RE HIRING! 🥟

Turns out you lot really like dumplings 😂 so we’re looking for someone new to join our little kitchen team at Greystones.

We’re looking for someone with previous kitchen experience who’s happy working as part of a small team where everyone mucks in and gets the job done.

The important bits:

🥟 Minimum 30 hours a week
❤️ We’re a Real Living Wage employer
🌙 You’ll need to be available Friday & Saturday evenings
🔪 There’ll also be some daytime prep shifts
👩‍🍳 Previous kitchen experience is essential
💤 Two consecutive days off each week

We’re a small team, so we’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking and happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing.

❤️ Well… it turns out our social media woman’s done too good a job 😂🥟

More of you want to eat our dumplings than we can currently handle! Which is an AMAZING problem to have ❤️

But we want to make sure that when you come to see us, we’re giving you the food and service we want to give you.

So, a little change of plan for today:

We’ll be opening at 5pm rather than 12pm so we can restock and get ourselves ready for another busy night.

Tonight will be dine-in only while our lovely team find their feet.

We’ll bring takeaway back next week once we’ve made a few tweaks to how we work and are confident we can do things as well as we’d like to.

Thank you SO much for the incredible support this week. We genuinely weren’t prepared for quite how many of you would turn up! 😂❤️🥟

❤️Tasty vibrant Asian inspired food, in a welcoming yet industrial bar that's twinkly with fairy lights and makes great cocktails - what's not to love. This place has my name written all over it.

We tried a variety of dishes from our favourite chicken katsu karrage 🍗and oyster mushroom 🍄 to an interesting and fiery scallion pancake 🌶️ and stir fried veg. 🥕Dumpling City is a fun tapas style take on Asian inspired cuisine. Their trademark dumplings🥟 are large and filling and their karrage items or cauli wings are to die for.

🌿This place is amazing for veggies and vegans too. It's run by a vegan chef, so is sure to have a great choice for everyone but does feature several meat items on the menu.

🍹The cocktails at Old Workshop are great too. We tried a cherry Bakewell sour and a espresso martini 👌🏻

Can't make it to kelham? The @tramshedbar also has Dumpling City at this location south of the city.

💡They have just started a new offering on Sundays - the British Sunday dinner ! Quite a contrast to dumplings but I recon these guys can do anything. We will be sure to try it out soon ! Don't miss out.
