Back from Maryland Deathfest. Yesterday marked me and @black_metal_barbie 4 year anniversary. Every day, I feel so damn lucky to have her. This was our third MDF together, and it won't be the last. Our relationship started at this very festival in 2022 and it would feel wrong to not attend it together. She's the best thing to ever happen to me and I'll continue to say it proudly. Here's to many more years together, baby!! I LOVE YOU!! 😍😍🥰🥰😘😘❤️❤️ #metalcouple #marylanddeathfest #deathfest #deathmetal by @duncanfoz

Last night, me and @black_metal_barbie went to see the mighty @emperorbandofficial down in Worcester at the good ol Palladium. It was our fourth time seeing them live together and it was nice to not have to fly out to see them live for a change. Seeing shows with her is one of my favorite things ever. They NEVER disappoint live. I will say it for the rest of my life that Emperor is the greatest black metal band ever as well one of the greatest bands to ever exist PERIOD. Seeing Emperor live is a religious experience and I could see them play live every night and never get tired of it. #emperor #blackmetal #metal #norweigenblackmetal #worcesterpalladium taken in Worcester Palladium by @duncanfoz

70000 Tons of Metal 2026 was a cruise to remember! It ended up being the coldest cruise ever, but that didn't stop us! Best vacation to ever go on as a metalhead. Some highlights were both sets from @anthrax @vader_band_official @kanonenfieber @darktranquillityofficial. Swipe for those clips including one of me crowd surfing during the first Anthrax set. Kanonenfieber was super special since they likely will never tour the states, but HOLY FUCK were they incredible. Also finally saw my friends in @izegrim perform as well! They did not disappoint! Got the mandible claw done on me by someone dressed as Mankind 🤣🤣. Dressed as Macho Man Randy Savage on the last night and got photos with @miklstne of Dark Tranquility/Cemetery Skyline/Halo Effect and @gusgofficial of @firewindofficial. That costume kept me warm on the pool deck that final night since it got cold. Also wanna give a HUGE shout out to @michelvoltaire @shannondawn138 and @ivandelgado656 for being the best cabin mates I could have asked for! Y'all made this insanely memorable and I'd do it again! Lastly, thank you @70000tons for giving us the best vacation possible over the years. Nine cruises later and I STILL have a blast every time. This was too much fun! #70000tons #70000tonsofmetal #metalcruise #crowdsurfing #metal by @duncanfoz

2025. The year that nearly broke me. Seriously don't know how I made it through this year to be quite honest. 2025 has been probably the worst year of my life for a few reasons. Lost a lot of good "friends" this year (goodbye and good riddance 🖕🖕), gone through some personal life battles where things got pretty dark for me to the point where I didn't feel like existing. I don't know what I'd do or where I'd be if I didn't have someone like @black_metal_barbie being there to lift me up from my darkest moments. I'm insanely lucky to have her. Glad to let so many negative people in my life go. I'm glad I'm done with this year as a whole. Besides that, there were A LOT of positives this year. Got my first one bedroom apartment and not having to have roommates or anything. Got to take my woman on @70000tons at the start of the year and it was one of my favorite times ever going. We had a blast! Having her visit me on my birthday since getting my apartment was my favorite moment this year. Despite the distance, seeing her always makes me happy like nothing else 🥰🥰. Saw shows when I could and most of them were bands I listened to all through high school. Also got to see The Hardy Boys @matthardybrand and @jeffhardybrand wrestle within walking distance of where I live. 2025 maybe have been a difficult year, but it brought some great memories and new experiences. As for 2026, I'm planning on doing more music related things as well so new @etherealrotofficial is coming, as well as seeing the lady as much as possible!! Here's to 2026! 🎆🎆 #fuck2025 #newyears #metal #70000tons #lfg by @duncanfoz

Crowd surfing while seeing one of your favorite bands just hits different. Throwback to @nemhfofficial last weekend during @theblackdahliamurder_official.

Just woke up to the news that Tomas Lindberg from At The Gates passed away. I'm shocked and devastated. Tomas was one of the nicest dudes I have ever met in metal, and I have been lucky to have gotten to hang out with him on a few occasions. I remember discovering Blinded by Fear on Rock Band YEARS ago, and I was hooked after that. I'll never forget on the boat years ago where he went, "where's my Pink Power Ranger?" I then get hoisted up to crowd surf. He was a big fan. So lucky to have seen At The Gates many times over the last decade and two of those times were seeing them play Slaughter of the Soul in full. RIP, you legend. FUCK CANCER!! #atthegates #fuckcancer by @duncanfoz

Today (May 25th) marks three years together with my woman @black_metal_barbie!!! What a ride it has been! Feels like yesterday that we met up for Maryland Deathfest, and now here we are! Though we weren't able to attend MDF this year, we still managed to spend quality time for our anniversary. Time flies when you're having fun adventures together. Here's to many more. LOVE YOU, BABY!!! 😍😍🥰🥰❤️❤️ #metalcouple by @duncanfoz

Ya boy was recently spotted, crowd-surfing during @tankard.official, drinking a beer (didn't spill a drop) in a recent @washingtonpost article about @70000tons. I'm missing the boat pretty hard right now. Ps WP, the shirt is PINK! Not white! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for the cool action shot, though! If someone can direct me to the photographer who took this, I wanna give them credit for this! #70000TONS #70000tonsofmetal #washingtonpost #crowsurfing #tankard #thrashmetal #germanthrash #metalcruise #diewithabeerinyourhand by @duncanfoz
