Got a care package from the best folks and the best band on the planet. Just broke down in some happy tears. Fucking love you all. Hopefully I'll see all you folks sometime soon.

70k round 3 was chilly as fuck,
But that certainly didn’t stop the good times as evidently apparently by these slides of beautiful people making beautiful memories.

Thanks to all to be thankful for

If only I could tell my younger self from 15 years ago that one day she would be sitting at home, feeling like an empty gas tank in every part of her body except for her heart, because she just finished her second year as part of crew for a metal festival that happens on a cruise ship.

The bands were no less than stellar. Thank you to the bands that did unique sets dipping into older material- I finally got to hear some songs live that were from an era before I discovered you. And to the bands that fought tooth and nail just to get here, you deserve it more than you know and I hope that it’s only the beginning of your upward trajectory.

The crew, this goddamn amazing crew, the warm welcome I felt last year developed into a sense of belonging this year. I didn’t realize that you all seeing me as a familiar face among you was gonna be as big of a confidence boost as it was. To my hospo baddies in aqua, there’s no one I’d rather burn thousands of calories and walk tens of thousands of steps with. And I have to call out the massive spike in ‘thank you’s this year from ALL parties. From crew, from musicians and even attendees who may not have even known what my role entails. You just happened to be in an elevator with a person with a shirt that reads ‘crew’ and you said thank you for… keeping the machine running, for making 70k what it is, or sometimes ‘thank you’ as a full sentence. It means more than you know.

To Megan, my favorite stage hand, my ride or die cabinmate, thank you for being the one to pull me onto the boat and thank you for continuing to be a huge part of my boat experience. I’ll never laugh at fart jokes with anyone else the way I do with you at the delirious hours of 5-6am.

To those who love me, old and new, your presence in my life is a gift, as is your allowance of my presence in your lives. I’m starting to run out of brain juice but I love you very much, thank you for wanting the best for me, for believing in me, and everything else that comes with what we’ve built together in the time that we’ve been in each others’ lives ❤️

Until next year, @70000tons 🤘🏻

Who’s ready to spread some holiday cheer with us?!

This upcoming Saturday, December 20th, we’ll be playing at Little Joe’s in Lewiston for charity! At the door, you can either purchase a ticket, give a gift, or both to get into the show. Proceeds from the event will go towards local kids in need- both cash earnings and gifts donated. If you have the night free, want to have a good time, listen to great music, and support an awesome cause, join us and @perpetual_affliction, @kryptosporidium69, and Ripfence for a night of debauchery and donations!
