Now and forever, I’m your king!”-Outro, M83To me, bodybuilding is as much a sport as it is a performance art, and the “routine” is a chance to tell a story.The story I chose to tell was of the man I used to be, who hit rock bottom and was full of shame and embarrassment before learning that he could become the king of his own land (body).I wanted to emphasize through my poses the battles I faced in order to conquer my mindset and habits - the lessons I’ve learned and the growth that came from it.By the end I hoped to showcase what I am telling myself that “now and forever I’m your King!” - as this is not only a statement of achievement, but also of lifelong commitment.I’m grateful for the opportunity I have to be a part of this sport, and for the chance I had to tell my story. I spent countless hours piecing this routine together from posts by @kylianortegaperez and practicing and refining it with @fitfreak_dave - I am incredibly grateful for both of you.Even after all that practice, it wasn’t perfect. I messed up multiple times, but I didn’t let that stop me. Anything they want, he will provide: a new motorbike, a snowcone, a new stuffie, a trip to the rock climbing gym, a chance to ride a pony. His whole goal in life is to be an active participant in their lives - for them to know that no matter what, their Uncle Dust showed up for them, cheered them on, and loved them. It is such a joy to capture all these sweet moments throughout the year watching Chelsie be such a loving nurturer to so many little ones.
