Johnny you were more than a friend, we are family. You brightened up the room,even when you had a bad day and that light extended to everyone around you…. Johnnys crazy ass called me while still in the hospital, less 2 months ago, and asked if I wanted to run the marine corps marathon with him in Washington DC. Neither one of us have any business running a marathon but I agreed, to give him a little more of a challenge. Both of our goals were to just beat the other…. We booked a room for the marathon together a few nights before he left us. And it was surreal seeing that empty bed next to me.
His family asked me to run under his numbers and name to honor the man that had such a positive impact on so many people’s lives. He was selfless and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Rest in peace brother. You were one of the best souls I’ve ever encountered. I’ve always looked up to you and I still will. Happy birthday to my Ana Letícia! You make everyday so much more exciting and special 😘 it feels like we are traveling back in time and getting younger every day I’m with you. You are so strong, smart, sexy, sassy, stubborn, sweet, and above all, selfless 😍 I’m so blessed that you helped me organize the kettlebells and went axe throwing, to start off this unimaginable adventure together. 1st attempt I Tried and failed… 2nd attempt negative thoughts overpowered positive one… about to give up but Ana wouldn’t let me… 20lb pr. Not even 4 weeks into new 12 program. 😊 by @dustychenette
