AFRICAN RISING STAR | SEPTEMBER

Meet Deborah Victor-Ayoola, a woman passionate about strengthening one of the most important foundations of society: the family.

Through her work as a marriage and family life counsellor, author, community builder and advocate, Deborah is creating spaces where people can have the conversations that matter, prepare intentionally, and build healthier relationships and homes.

From FAMCORE Solutions to The Godly Marriage Tribe, Courtship Compass and her work with families and young people, her message is clear: stronger families do not happen by accident. They are built intentionally.

And for Deborah, the vision goes beyond individual homes. It is about raising people, strengthening families and contributing to a stronger society, one home at a time.

This September, African Rising Star celebrates Deborah Victor-Ayoola for the work she is doing to make family strengthening part of the bigger conversation about the future of Africa.

Congratulations, Deborah!

I’ve never had a wishlist before but this year I do.😁

If you know me, you know how passionate I am about the family. Both in ministry and industry, family life holds a strong place in my heart.

I’m on a mission to build stronger nations through the family system, one home at a time. I believe that God’s design for families is for us to have a healthy and long-lasting relationship.

This new year i want to help as many couples as possible build healthy homes as God has designed but I’m going to be coming more from the prevention is better than cure approach.

I envision a society where healthy families become the norm because couples invested in pre-marital counseling before getting married.

“Strong families are not a private luxury; they are a public necessity for Africa’s future.”

You don’t need a marriage that looks good online.
You need a marriage that works in real life.

What matters is not whether people online can see that your marriage is thriving.
What matters is that you and your spouse are actually building a marriage that thrives. by @dva_of_nations

If you know you’re ready to do the deeper work before marriage, send me a DM. Let’s talk about how I can help you.

One of my mentors @official_ocholiokutepa said something in one of his teaching that really stayed with me:
“Stop taking advantage of your feminine power to source from every source.”

And honestly, I think we need to have an honest conversation about this. by @dva_of_nations

It’s another Mentorship Class for the Ignite Cohort 🚀

This Saturday, we are learning from Deborah Victor-Ayoola on a very important topic:

Building Healthy Relationships & Boundaries

Growth is not only about skills, career, and opportunities. It is also about understanding people, building the right relationships, protecting your space, and knowing how to set healthy boundaries.

This is a session every student should be part of.

Some truths are too valuable to hear just once.

Through these snippets from Pastor Funmi's session at the Kingdom Marriage Conference 2026, we're reminded that strong marriages are built intentionally through wisdom, growth, and a commitment to doing the work before and during marriage.

Take a moment to read, reflect, and share this with someone preparing for marriage or committed to building a thriving home.

What is your biggest takeaway from this snippet?
