Whilst we were on the Rewilding Spain Project visit, Yazz interviewed Soraya, our guide, to help you all find out more about the @rewilding_spain project. Our young people on this trip found it really interesting learning about how wild animals are being conserved & enjoyed asking Soraya questions about the different wildlife in the area. Thank you to Rewilding Spain for welcoming us!

On day 3 of our #AlbiontoAtlas trip we spent the afternoon at the @rewilding_spain project. We met Soraya who guided us round the area & explained the Rewilding Spain Project.

We learnt a lot about the project and the animals and got to see Prewalski’s horses, a very rare species to see! We also saw bison, including a one month old bison calf!

Finn said he found it interesting that the project was like an outdoor lab.

Roberta said she found it interesting learning about the hunting culture in Spain.

Yazz said she liked learning about how the animals change their behaviour depending on the weather

Yesterday was a big moment.

We stood on the main stage at the NEC Birmingham to go public for the first time with my new expedition - ‘CHASING THE SUN’.

This is a world first of its kind. A 50,000km+ journey around the world, powered by the sun. Proving what’s actually possible when you push solar technology to its absolute limit.

And it’s happening in just 7 months.

For years this lived as an idea in my head, then as a scribble on scraps of paper and more recently as the odd conversation here and there. To finally be able share it at the Solar & Storage Show, in a room full of the people who are building the future of energy, and to have that kind of response - I can’t thank you enough.

The reaction since yesterday has been huge. So many of you have come reached me with messages of support, loving the energy! (Forgive the pun)

Thank you to @solarstoragelive_uk for having me on there, and to everyone at the NEC - what an incredible event and community.

This is just the start. We’re going to take #CTS worldwide (literally).

Adventure 496 of 500. Hold your breath and face your fears.

14 year old Harry and 16 year old Ollie Ferguson are two brothers on a mission to complete 500 adventures before they turn 18. Some call them Britain’s Most Adventurous Family.

Task 496 is canyoning through the Falls of Bruar near Pitlochry in Scotland.

This week, Dwayne Fields marks 70 years of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards by traveling through the UK to meet the people trying to convince youngsters that the real world is much more fun than the digital one.

🎤 Chasing the Sun: how solar and storage can power adventure when the grid ends

What happens when the grid ends?

We’re delighted to welcome Dwayne Fields (FRGS), Arctic explorer, TV presenter and UK Chief Scout, to the Solar Keynote Theatre at Solar & Storage Live UK.

From walking more than 400 miles to the Magnetic North Pole to leading expeditions across some of the most remote places on Earth, Dwayne has spent two decades exploring what it takes to operate far beyond the reach of conventional infrastructure.

In Chasing the Sun, he’ll share stories from those expeditions and look at the technology that makes them possible, from solar modules now exceeding 700W and storage designed for extreme conditions, to solar-powered basecamps and the next frontier of off-grid adventure.

And next? Dwayne is preparing for perhaps his biggest challenge yet: driving a solar-charged electric vehicle around the world.

Today marks two years since I renewed my promise at Scout Park in North London.

I’ve renewed my promise many times before, but this one was different. This time, I was stepping into the role of Chief Scout — a role I am immensely proud to hold.

Over the last two years, I’ve had the privilege of speaking with tens of thousands of young people and thousands of adult volunteers from across the UK and around the world. I’ve heard countless stories about the profound difference Scouts has made to their lives, their families, and their communities.

Young people tell me about the skills they’re developing, the confidence they’ve gained, the friendships they’ve made, and about finding a place where they truly belong.

To our adult volunteers who make all of this possible — thank you. Your dedication and service to others is a credit to us all.

It’s been an amazing two years - and they’ve absolutely flown by.

We were so lucky on Robertson Sub-camp to have a visit from UK’s Chief Scout @dwaynefields during camp.

Dwayne not only presented a Kings Scout award to our own Matt 👑 ⚜️, but took the time to talk to our leaders about Volunteering and how important a job we do for the next generation. ☺️
He also spoken to several youths on the Sub-camp about their time at the Jamborette.

Robertson Sub-camp were over the moon winning Camp Chief Pennant the day Dwayne visited, congratulations again to South East Patrol 4 and Canada Kemptville Venturers Patrol 2 🥳🔥 taken in Target Park, Blair Atholl by @dwaynefields
