Be careful what you ask for, because not everything that looks good is good for you. Some things shimmer with potential but weren’t meant for your path. When our delight is in the Lord, our desires start to shift… they begin to look more like His. 🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏼

What we choose on our own always ends up needing His rescue. But when we trust Him first, we find that His “no” is often the kindest gift. 💙 by @dwaynerbond

Abundance can test our faith just as much as hardship. The question isn’t just can we trust God when we’re in need, it’s will we trust Him when we have more than enough?

There are NO shortcuts to the promises of God. Faith and obedience are the road. The flesh will always try to offer a faster way, but the quick path rarely leads to life.

Whether in plenty or in need, keep your eyes on Jesus. The promise is secure, not because of us, but because of Him. 🙏🏽 by @dwaynerbond

For years, this brother right here has been nudging and urging me to write. I told him many times, “Bro, that dissertation took the write out of me.” He would say, “But your voice is needed.”
