A U G U S T • 4 • 2026 • This was an exceptionally monumental milestone for us because we hadn't ever made it here before 🤩🎉

Fertility clinic graduation is an exciting day because it marks that your pregnancy has made it to 9 weeks and you are stable enough to move on to full-time care under your OB. Plus, you get to start weaning off the extra estrogen and progesterone 🙌🏾

Apparently I get really giggly sharing the fact that we're pregnant 😂

I just cant believe I forgot to press record when we told our family 🤦🏾‍♀️🥲

After keeping this secret [mostly] for almost 12 weeks, it felt good to finally let the rest of our family and friends in on our good news!

JULY 20, 2026: On my mom's birthday, we started our morning with prayers and hope that our embryo would still be with us, with a strong heartbeat, sac and fetal pole 🙏🏾 6w6d pregnant.

I remember the relief I heard in our breath when the CCRM sonographer turned the volume up and we heard the heartbeat. We turned to each other an smiled harder than I did in my preschool photos 💞

We were one step closer...

* Yes, we did transfer two euploid embryos but more to come about that later 🌈

We decided to share our pregnancy news with Dad on my mom’s heavenly birthday: JULY 20TH 2026. 🕊️🤍

It was such a beautiful, emotional day, and I’m so grateful we found a way to include Mom in this incredibly special moment.

She may not be here to celebrate with us in person, but somehow, she was still very much a part of it.

From the archives • My First Pregnancy Ultrasound

One of the best things (but also most anxiety inducing things) about being under the care of a reproductive immunologist is that they require weekly ultrasounds until 14 weeks gestation.

The close monitoring is comforting for me but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was nervous approaching my Friday ultrasounds, hoping and praying to God that our baby was still there and had a heartbeat 🙏🏾
