I am an Olympian.Being a high performance athlete is extremely hard, especially in action sports. Many people might look at my result as failure, not landing a run in finals, I think the opposite. I had the option of dialling it back and putting a safety run in the bank, instead I went for broke all 3 finals runs. That is what the Olympics is about, putting your best foot forward and giving your best effort. I would have been more disappointed in myself had I not attempted my hardest run. I am extremely proud of what I accomplished at these Olympics. I landed a never been done trick in contest, I had the most fun possible, and I showed the world what kind of person I am. I am grateful to have been able to show both Canada and the Olympic world that my podium was just being able to ski and compete. I had a blast out there and I hope I left a mark on that Olympic final, always going as big as I can 🫡🚀Congrats to all my competitors, you all inspire me to keep pushing my own personal boundaries. Thank you @maggiephillipsscarlett for keeping my body working. Thank you @naulty_by_nature your silent long nights in the wax cabin do not go unnoticed, I would not have been at the O-show without your speed or subtle coaching remarks. @trennonpaynter and @mcdonellmarc 4 years ago when I didn’t make the Olympics you two stuck by my side and continued to believe in me, thank you. @logan.dobson 🐐 enough said. @kristlace thank you for keeping our entire team in line, the Olympics is a chaos circus and you don’t get enough appreciation for the help you give. The entire @freestylecanadaski staff, there are too many to name but thank you for helping me get to this point. And thank you to my family, @lynnmarineau @evan_marineau @dennismarineau my number #1 support, no of this would be possible with out your love.@usabs going into the half pipe final my dad was supposed to be in cortina coaching because they also had a race same time. They allowed my father to stay and watch my finals. I am eternally grateful, thank you🙏🏻Everyone that has sent me messages the last couple of weeks, I appreciate every single one. This isn’t the end of my halfpipe career, I will be back!💪🏻 by @dylan_marineau

8th in the world 😁🙏Beyond happy with how world Champs went, finally got to show that I have a lot more coming in the future.
