One year in NYC holy wow! The most special journey in trusting and believing in myself and my communities. I’m endlessly grateful for all the friends I’ve made, relationships I’ve built, and stories I’ve been able to experience and tell over these past 365 days. I can’t wait to see what’s next! by @dylanicholasr

I most recently had the pleasure of stage managing @newstudioonbway @nyutisch ‘s production of Mean Girls! This production of one of my favorite contemporary musicals was fresh, exciting, deep, exploratory, and gifting at every turn. Everything about this process, including finally getting the chance to call from this incredible and monstrous book and score, was a dream and I am so grateful for the entire creative team, cast, and crew:

direction: @christopherdbetts
choreography: @adamjmunoz
music direction: melody valdez
associate music direction: sarah 陳永懿
assistant stage management: memphis messina and sam garrote
production coordination: neal goleta
scenic design: @cat.raynor
lighting design: @laurenbremen
sound design: jordan rose bernstein
costume design: @aliciamoroso
crew, board ops, A2s, wardrobe: the most amazing freshmen tisch students!

one month ago today i moved to what the Schuyler sisters (by way of Lin Manuel-Miranda) called “the greatest city in the world”. And so far, I tend to agree.
In this month, I have laughed louder, smiled wider, and cried harder than I ever have. I have made great new friends, deepened existing bonds, experienced immense gratitude, and profoundly missed those I left in other places. I have ran through crowds of tourists and raging fire hydrants, marched for liberation, and seen more theatre than I could ever dream of. Mostly, I’ve fallen in love with this city, my new home, and I can feel my dreams coming true.

Long captions aren’t normally my thing, (This was just gonna say “3 bucks, 2 bags, 1 me”) but I wanted to tell you that I love it here. I’m living my fullest life. If you’re reading this, I love you. And I can’t wait for what’s next. by @dylanicholasr
