I’ve done my time, I’ve fought my last war 🙂‍↔️✊🏻

152 marches, 23 on tour, 9 weekends, 8 cities, 37 monica milhollands, countless miles (trains, planes and automobiles fr) and so many laughs, tears, hugs and friendships. how lucky are we to live in the era of @suffsmusical 🥺 this show has touched every part of my life the past 2.5 years (blah blah we know) and the past year has been quite the ride. watching this incredible cast bring the story to life in countless cities has been beyond cool. forever indebted to @shainataub for these stories, these friendships, these memories. thank you to the entire suffs tour company for welcoming us into the fold - I’ll never forget it. america, how lucky were you!! onwards & upwards 🌟

It’s been a week since we closed Forest High and the Glitch in the System off-broadway. It’s hard to describe how PROUD I am of this thing. 10 years ago I said I wanted to have a production in New York within 5 years. It took a little longer than that goal, but we did it. And it was such an amazing time with such an INCREDIBLE group of people. Hopefully it’s not the end of the Forest High story, but if it is, I’m so so grateful.

the world will know they were here 💜

some of you have heard me talk about suffs since 2022, most of you have heard me talk about this version of suffs that arrived on broadway in 2024 almost non-stop since then.

beginning Friday, May 8 at 9pm EST, suffs will be available throughout the country on PBS Great Performances, which means that soooo many more people get to fall in love with this musical that just changed my life and brought some very important humans into my life.

I got to see an advance screening of the proshot on Monday, and oh, it is so perfect. you'll finally understand what it felt like when we were watching the show at the music box. such a beautiful show that we still so desperately need.

I am so excited for the next girl to have her world changed forever after watching suffs. for all the people who will look all these humans up and want to learn more about their history. for all the loud little humans who will find a way to make a change in this world. for all the people who might feel less alone and hopeless after watching this beautiful piece of art.

suffs broadway for me was mostly about the community and the humans (on stage, off stage, in the audience, etc.) and it was very special getting a piece of that magic back on Monday, and also realizing that the community has grown bigger and also stronger, and the proshot will only expand it. how thrilling!

anyway, I could yap about suffs forever but! all this to say! watch suffs on PBS starting tomorrow night eeeeee 💜

and look these Suffs up 📣

(last video is from December 21, 2024, one of the days suffs was filmed)
(ran out of tags but love you all!!)
