April 17th, my due date. a day that once held so much anticipation🤍

now it holds so many layers of emotion. grieving our son Boone, grieving who I used to be, grieving the life I thought we’d have. some days it feels like the grief just stacks with no end in sight. even in the heaviness and pain, we chose to celebrate him in a place we love. because he is so loved, always. and there’s a sliver of peace in our spirit that knows he’s with Jesus and his Mimi. we will always have 2 boys. one here on earth and one in Heaven.

I miss you every single day Boone. I catch myself wondering what life would look like if you were here, who you’d be, how you’d look, Jax and you playing together. i just know he would love being your big brother. we can’t wait to hold you one day.
