At our 26 week appointment, we received the news no parent ever wants to hear, our baby no longer had a heartbeat. At the end of the first trimester, our pregnancy quickly became high-risk as fluid began building up throughout our sweet boy’s body. He fought for so much longer than the doctors were expecting, but sadly, after six months of being his safe place, he went home to Heaven. We didn’t receive the healing we were praying for on this side of eternity. January 14th is a day that forever changed us.

Our hearts are heavy today as we also celebrate four years of marriage. I’m overwhelmed by the woman of God I’ve been blessed with. Challenge after challenge and battle after battle, we continue to look forward in faith as we follow Jesus together.

no words can take this pain away. nothing can make this better. it doesn’t make sense. im so sad. i miss you already. i love you so much. my superhero. our queen. my home.
i am so happy you’re with our Heavenly Father. knowing that Jesus has His arms wrapped around you gives me so much peace. I CANNOT WAIT to see you in Heaven!!!! you have complete peace and joy now.

my favorite places with my favorite people!!! days of celebration remind me that joy and grief can coexist. even when it truly feels impossible. feeling the absence & weight my two sweet angels in Heaven while still feeling loved & celebrated. 27 was the MOST stretching, horrible, painful year of my life, no sugar coating that lol. so angry at God, so confused and annoyed. pissed off at everyone & everything lol. felt like i could never make it out. but something about my birthday feels like the start of something new. sounds dramatic hahaha but its true. knowing God more intimately and deeply, living life like one less day, not one more, and feeling more hopeful & joyful (one day at a time).
